Come one, come all! Welcome to our great adventure, F&E.

This is a very, very simple game that I hope everyone joins. If you've been around long enough to remember Helios' Lottery games it will run very much like that, but it'll be rpg skinned, specifically dnd. You may also have played my holiday games that I do every so often, those were born from Helios' Lottery. This will be something in between the two of them, but far closer to lottery.

The game is basically choose your own adventure and will involve a lot of luck. Each phase, which there'll be one of each day, you'll have a couple of choices to make. Example, you hear a noise, do you A. Run Away. B. Investigate. C. Call for help. Everyone chooses whichever option they would like, and every option has a consequence that I've already secretly assigned to it. The next day, those consequences are revealed and play continues. You'll have some more decisions to make than just that and there'll be other elements thrown in there such as items, but it'll be nothing crazy at all. Time and commitment are low and casual, SO JOIN!

The ultimate goal of the game is to acquire the most gold throughout the adventure...as well as survive it. I don't play on making death a major element but it will be possible

However, you wont be alone. Like all dnd games you will be grouped into small adventuring parties of three players each. Your party will collect gold together in a shared pot and you'll be fighting to stay ahead of your rival parties who are all racing along the same quest. Think of it as Dungeons and Dragons meets...Rat Race!

You'll still make choices as individuals as well as choices as a group but all choices will be made in public, so don't be picky about whos in your party or anything, you don't need to be intimately familiar with them and don't have to do any outside communication. So BRANCH OUT!

You'll get a better gist of things as we get going but its very simple. Two disclaimers. One! I am no dnd expert and I'm still new to this, so this'll be very much an introduction to the broad strokes of a typical adventure, the fact that till be generic is sorta the point. I also have a horrible time typing with his keyboard so don't expect an intricate story...at all. TWO! Along the same lines, this'll be very basic and wont involve rolling dice or stats or character sheets, its just dnd skinned without getting into the mechanics.

Last bit for now, each of you will create your own characters in this thread as sign ups go on. Ill post information about that soon but it'll be very easy, it wont be like Lab or ATTWS or anything like that at all. You'll choose your race and class from provided lists and you'll come up with a list. If you wanna play the game in character...great! But you don't have to. But that could be a lot of fun

Now, onto your CHARACTERS! Each of you will be playing a character that you'll create. Do NOT stress about this part and have some fun with it


1. Class

There are twelve main classes in dnd, they're the first twelve options if you follow that link. Read the brief description and choose whatever one sounds fun to you. This is the only character step that's more than just flavor

Each party must have one support, on fighter, and one magic user. I'm considering Cleric, Druid, and Bard as Support. Barbarian, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, and Rogue as Fighter, and Sorcerer, Warlock, and Wizard as Magic.

You need to be cautious about this part when joining a party, because no party can have two fighters, etc. You need one of each. In the next post Ill post the party sign ups, so make your character asap and fill an open class in any party you wish. If you really wanna be a magic user for example, you'll have to join a party that doesn't have one yet

2. Race

Follow that link. On the right side are a list of races. You can choose anything from that list besides Alien and Insect because that's dumb! I'm not in love with Zombie or Robot either so avoid those if you could.

Make your character on heroforge! Its way more fun to have a visual of your character. Heroforge is great and very intuitive, just fly through and do whatever you'd like...mostly. Avoid the MODERN stuff please, unless its something that's classified as modern on there but would work fine, I trust your judgement. No guns, no MOTORCYCLES! Its a fantasy game, you get it. Also just avoid mounts altogether pls

Create them, colorize them, then hover over their name tab and go down to screenshot and post that screenshot in here. Have fun with it

4. Name

There's a name generator to help you out. You can also scroll down and likely find the race that you chose if you want something that works well with your race, but that's very much unnecessary. I like the names generated from the OLD name button the most personally but you can do whatever. One or more of you will inevitably think its funny to do something like Bob. It isn't! Fight the urge!
