I wanna run a D&D game.
I received a message not too long ago asking me to lend my time and know-how and run a campaign and I'm reaching out to everyone here on FE to see who all would be interested in joining! I plan to make a private discord server for voice chat and will be running/playing the game via roll20. I would ask anyone interested to PM me here on FE to have a quick chat and get an invite to the discord.
I have one person interested so far, but overall I'm looking for 4-5 players max. I plan to run a pre-made module, either The Lost Mines of Phandelver or the Essentials Kit, both great starter campaigns that are well written and easy to play. There's also Curse of Strahd, but that is a more difficult campaign that is notorious for killing unsuspecting players, but hey if we have any gluttons for punishment, I can run that too!
As far as my DM-ing style goes, I typically stick to the rules but if there's a wacky moment or something crazy happens, I like to Rule of Cool it. Game time and schedule will be discussed when I have the party gathered, but I'm hoping anyone interested is willing to be flexible in their schedule and can show up at least once a week or once every other week and will have at least 2-3 hours free time to play.

I'd be down for like a forum for freeform text based roleplaying like... People used to do on forums a lot 15 or do years ago. Hearts and Minds sort of thing?
