dunno when this is expiring, but microsoft/xbox is offering their game pass for $1 for the first month currently! so almost as low as a free trial, and has tons of games for PC and xbox you get access to

just signed up and am STOKED to see ori and the blind forest's sequel (as well as the original) on here. very excited to play, the deal would be good enough for me if it was just those two games. but it's actually tons of stuff

About two hours until I can spend an hour downloading only to discover my computer can’t handle it and I’ll have to play on stadia

And yet I am still so excited

so epic games gives away a game or two every week. if you pick up the games during that week, you can keep them.

this week, pillars of eternity and tyranny are the free ones. pillars of eternity is a great rpg, would definitely recommend, and tyranny is made by the same company and is supposedly really good as well

y'all should pick them up if you like RPGs

but anyway, starting on thursday they'll be giving away a free game every day for 15 days and iirc last year's were pretty decent
