Kinda wish Obsidian was making this one too after they did so well with New Vegas but o well. Looks good! Kinda cool that the player's character will actually speak now

Yeah Obsidian really nailed NV, especially the writing. I wish Bethesda had at least enlisted them in that department. But we will see. It seems they have addressed at least one major criticism; it looks like they have done away with the shitty green filter from 3 and added a whole bunch of colour into the mix. The sky is actually blue this time, yay!

Here's hoping they hired a new team of writers too!

Battlefront 2 was released a decade ago and it had 10 times as many features as this so called sequel, which seems to have gutted everything good from the series and turned it into Call of Duty with a Star Wars skin.

And now to top it all off they are selling content that was supposed to be in the initial release and dubbing it an expansion pack. Fuck that

I stopped buying games from EA after Spore tbh.

I still haven't got over that game. It ruined video games for me.

I still haven't gotten deep yet (I've restarted a few times just out of curiosity about the different traits and ethics) but it's great. Runs way better than expected on my laptop, too. It's got a really interesting feel to it. One of my empires is the happy looking mushroom people, repugnant but fanatically xenophilic (and materialists). I name all of their cities and spacecrafts after things like happiness and sunshine and friendship, as they try to find new pals in the galaxy, only to constantly run into xenophobes and fanatical militarists near their borders, constantly meeting potential friends who want absolutely nothing to do with them besides potentially annihilation. I'll probably hold off on the DLC for a while and get it when it inevitably goes on sale, even though the new pack looks great. I haven't had a midgame crisis trigger for any of my saves yet (shrooms are probably close) so I still have a lot to do and see before I get any DLC

You're gonna love the crisis' when you encounter them. I have only encountered one of them thus far, but it was gr8

I bought the DLC today and started a new game. Just taking into account the patch changes, there is a noticeable improvement. The option to turn off clustered starts was a much needed feature!

Fallen Empires are even more interesting than before with the DLC. I'm addicted again

I had no idea Age of Empires 4 was happening.

Love the series, hope they don't fuck it up. Hasn't been great since AOE2 though. 3 was average
