I heard recently that you get a Gen 1 starter in addition to the Gen 6 starter. I love the bulbasaur line so fucking much. I... cannot... even!

Will be picking mine up tomorrow, but school/work decided to shit on me. UGH. I'll find time to play.

Just got bulbasaur and stopping for a bit. Flabebe kinda sucks but I'll wait it out until she evolves before writing her off

I cannot wait to find the ghost/steel sword. I WANT IT SO BADLY. Ugh I wish I didn't have so much HW this week.

I was surprised at the gap between the first and second gym. I just beat the second gym and then stopped, but I hope the other gaps are just as long. I kind of doubt they will be, though.

Braxien (26) Butterfree (26) Ivysaur (26) Floette (26) Honedge (24) Aerodactyl (21) I am going to miss butterfree so much, but I realize I'm gonna have to get rid of her. I want to get the fighting/flying and the rock/water to round out the team (will replace aerodactyl as well), but I can't remember the names right now. Flabebe sucks but I'm having much more success with the evolved form. Can't wait for Florges and Moon Blast.

I already can't stop thinking of things I want to do for my next playthrough.

Screw it, I'm keeping Butterfree. I'll live without someone who can fly readily on my team.

To anyone that might know - Does each type of Pokemon have a specific nature that is better for them, is there one specific nature that is better for all Pokemon, or is the effect of the nature negligible unless you're doing super serious online battles?

Natures boost one stat, and decrease the other. Some natures don't have any effect though. Here's a comprehensive list of natures:

For a quicker reference, if you go into your Pokemon's summary and look at their stats, the boosted stat will be in red, and the decreased stat will be in blue. (counter-intuitive, i know)

So, to answer your question, it's on a case-by-case basis. Though for in-game use, a "bad" nature for a pokemon usually doesn't affect too much.

they have a "set all pokemon to lvl 50" option so we could just use that
