first ep was aight. It pretty much just feels like another season of Mando which isn't exactly INSPIRED but also not a bad formula to copy. Didn't realize Favreau was showrunning this one too

Goransson nails the theme for this one too. As much as I love Giacchino's work in other things, Goransson has done a way better job stepping out of John Williams' shadow with his Star Wars themes

ep 2 was solid as well, maybe a bit better than the first. I like the mayor character and his crony

was DISAPPOINTED with the CGI Hutts. With so much of this show being practical I wish they could've went back to ROTJ style puppets for them, but I'm guessing those are more challenging than other creatures due to their sheer size

don't like that they're making Boba more sympathetic in this but there's still a fair amount they haven't revealed about him so maybe that'll change? Right now he's like on the same anti-hero level as Mando tho
