I thought the man in black deserved a flashback, after all he will die in the finale?! at least that's what HE wants. the other story archs were pretty much on hold. or at least it felt like the pawns did just one move the whole episode. maeve/ford, dolores/teddy, cool scenes, but unfortuantely felt so crammed. MIB had all the spotlight, OKAY I guess.
This darkness, inside of him....he's just a selfish destrcutive human being....like every other guy....this demonizing didn't sit right with me, after all I didn't see him as that evil to be honest, I don't know why but I sympathized with him from the start and it felt difficult, even AFTER the daddy delos torture revalation, to hate this son of a bitch. when he shot his daughter, that was the first time I thought "NO william...you don't DO that kind of shit". well, I hope he goes out guns blazing!
btw I digg this "camera moving slightly beneath/behind the character" thing while they walk along long halls. they had those a couple of times this episode, MIB did that walk repeatedly. I recall a shot of Bernard this style aswell! |
