I am a junior, so I have the same name as my father. This has caused all sorts of problems:

- when Arlington wasn't going to let me vote because they said I moved to Spokane, Washington, despite the fact that my dad and I have different SSNs and haven't lived in the same house together since 1992 (1994 if you count a couple summers in college).

- My dad's health insurance got messed up when they thought he'd moved to Arlington, where my dad has never lived. I still get hearing aid ads in the mail and shit like that because they think I'm retired and 73 years old.

If your name is Richard and their options were "Tom, Dick, and Harry", that would be awesome.

Seth Robert ... Middle name is my dads, and I was originally going to be a Daniel, but after a close friend named their son that a few month prior to me arriving, they settled on a Bible name. Not sure why Seth?

I... dunno. My mom swears I'm named after Keith Sweat. My dad says I'm named after Keith Moon. My mom says she'd never name me "after that druggie!". And my dad says he has no idea who Keith Sweat is. I was originally going to be Charles III but Mr. C said absolutely not.

they named my brother Jordan and wanted to be one of those people that named their kids all the same letter so they went with James. No one calls me James even from birth I’ve been Jamie not sure why they didn’t just name me Jamie to start with. If I was a girl I was going to be Jessica which is my sisters name. Though they didn’t plan the J thing all along, since my brother girls name was Kelsey.

What's funny is a grew up with a guy named Jamie who, when he got older, swapped to James instead.

Yeah, I've only known one Jamie that was a chick.

My mom's favorite Starbucks barista is named Manny, which is short for "Emanuwell." He said his mom meant to name him Emmanuel but had no idea how to spell so his name is literally spelled out phonetically. Always makes me laugh when I think about it.

I know because it is one of my IRL names. Ken also means "knowing". If you go with my full name, it is "handsome knowledge he who is like God nails".
