I'm supposed to go see this Friday with someone but I feel like they will try to talk through the whole movie so I'm considering going at 2 PM to see it today in advance.

I fucking loved this. Fantastic movie, maybe my favorite out of this new wave of critically acclaimed horror.

Most unbelievable thing - everyone gotta be quiet af but they're gonna play Monopoly? You know no one staying quiet when they're getting fucked on Park Place.

Oh shit, I tried to make a mental note about that to ask my friend what happened with that pipe when it was over but forgot. You see it streaming when he runs out and then suddenly the whole place was just flooded.

It had to have happened while she was in the bathroom and the thing was stalking up the hallway before the fireworks went off. Maybe it excitedly punched through the wall and hit a pipe? I dunno. Good question though.

I was surprised by how many people were in the theater to see this tonight. Last show on a Sunday and a majority of the top rows were filled.

We sat at the bottom. My friend was eating sour skittles at the beginning but quickly got uncomfortable with the noise being created and stopped. Also didn't touch their drink. I noticed this and laughed internally.

Oh you're right, it wasn't in the main house.

What was the deal with him not wanting his daughter in the basement? Just so she didn't see the extent of everything in the newspaper clippings?

I do agree that given how the monsters hunt it's weird it took the luck of a deaf girl to find their weakness.

But I can live with it. Still love the movie.

Speaking of chips, I saw someone point out that at the beginning of the movie when they were in the store that only bags of chips were left on the shelves.

Thought that was a neat touch.
