I love Eugene's new "final boss' henchman" look. It fits him perfectly. The trash people are so, so very bad that they have tainted everything. They are the most superfluous pieces of shit the show has ever seen. As seen at the end, Negan has no less than 8,284 men in his army. We didn't need these idiots shoehorned into the mix for the most obvious surprise betrayal of all time. And it's been said by everyone that has watched the show but what is the fucking deal with them regressing to talking like they do only 2 years into a zombie apocalypse.
But yeah. I remember there being one or two good episodes (Eugene's solo episode comes to mind), but I couldn't tell you if they were from the first or second half of this season. As a whole it was very terribly paced. Which, to be fair, has been their thing for a long time now.
Carol and Ezekiel are shooting 'south'. Then they turn north and Saviors are there who can easily have shot them in the back but then they just get gunned down, then Carol and Ezekiel turn back south and two people are running up to them with guns but aren't shooting, so then they get gunned down
Huh????
Watch it a few times, it's so baffling and stupid. It was just such a terribly choreographed episode and the amount of plot armor was unreal
I give the two they turn around and shoot partial credit, it looks like one of them gets a shot off after hesitating for five minutes until they were noticed. But the ones that run up after that... I guess they were the only two Saviors or Dumpster Flies that specialize in CQC.
And this guy, beside all of the good guys and they're all facing the same way. He's also facing Rick since we see Rick pop into frame a second later, but he wasn't shooting at Rick
Legit looks like Morgan is a bad guy in this shot, and dude was shooting at whatever Rick was. They bungle all of this, but then throw in some callback from many episodes ago with the little wooden statue thing Daryl finds and dust their hands off like "nailed it".
Why the FUCK are people like Tobin, Scott and Francine STILL ALIVE?!
I didn't even know who any of these characters were without looking them up. And even then, only Scott because of how prominently he was featured in last night's Yakety Sax gunfight. Risking accidental racism if that isn't even the same guy.
And seriously tho... how long were Sasha and Abraham together? They sold it like it was the truest love of the ages from Season 1 until now. I feel like last night's episode had them sharing more screen time than they did in the rest of the series.
