This makes me think there is more hidden text that hasn't been revealed. Likely Mason cannot be converted. I'm not fully discounting that Lamps and Angi are cult, I just feel it's more likely that they are masons.

If Lamps and I were cult there's no way Vic would have thrown so much shade on Lamps. We are not Mafia either.
