I didn't know that some people were incapable of internal dialogue. That's weird.

Way back when I was a psych major, internal dialogue was considered a developmental milestone. Is that no longer the case?

I just did a 180, because I do realize I have a voice in my head, but I don't have any conversations with it. I don't negotiate with hermorists. |
The fact that you have developed a policy makes me think you have had conversations with it.

Super weird to me
The reactions in that article are strange. My friend at work is one of them, she says she can only picture words |
That makes her a rarity. Men tend to be picture thinkers/mental landscapers more often than women.

Self talk is normally queued by emotions, so unless a person can't do it at all, or is a sociopath, they would likely fall in the "both" category.

For a very long time my internal dialogue was narrated by JD's voice from scrubs. Those were the best years of my life |
That whiny tone would drive me nuts.
