Pretty sure you can choose whatever skin you want. It's right down there at the bottom of the screen. If you don't like the current one you are using, try a different one.

OK. We have definitely found the trump voter. I love the theme I chose. The colour of my username doesn't work well on it. I can't choose that part unless I do what DS did. Then people complain. You are basically saying that I should choose a theme that fits the forced colour of my username. Again, not a choice. This is like when they tell you in church that you have free will as long as you use it to worship god.

I would say that you don't love the theme you chose, because it doesn't work with your username color.

I use 'Black as Night' and all the colors work great with it.
