Today's poll is about wisdom teeth because I'm getting mine out Thursday

Three out of four of them. The fourth is apparently not an issue so they're leaving it, I'd rather them just yank it now. I'm not excited

Update, this was pretty easy and pain free. Just boring and I miss pizza

They didn’t do the count back from 100 thing, they just started asking me how Christmas was while holding my shoulders down and then...that’s all I remember. That part was a bummer, I kinda wanted to remember the experience of just quickly going under

Faintly woke up three times during the surgery which was REALLY weird. I have a very groggy memory of just....hands coming at my mouth. And a drill. It was super weird

No swelling whatsoever. I packed bags full of ice and snow and kept it going for the first three days. All day. Didn’t wanna swell at all

No real pain at all either, only today a bit which sux cause I’m back at work, but it’s really not that bad. I was worried about my TMJ/teeth grinding really making things miserable but that’s been fine

Hands down the worst part is the food. I love ice cream but DAMN. I want some meat. My body only runs on chicken and soda and I haven’t had either since Wednesday. I’M DETOXING

HOWEVER I’m very worried I’m gonna get dry socket because I don’t see a blood clot in one of the holes at all, it’s still just totally empty. Doesn’t hurt yet though so maybe not

The first five days were a breeze but today is brutal. The one hole is just pure exposed bone so I can feel everything. EVERYTHING. The cold air and cold water is by far the worst

The worst part is that this’ll extend my limited diet even longer

I got it because I kept changing the gauze. They said to replace it every 20 minutes if it’s still bleeding so I kept replacing and replacing and it was always the same amount of blood for the first day and a half. Then I looked into it myself and realized the gauze was soaking up the blood clot that was trying to form in the hole. So the first day and a half I thought I was being thorough but I was counter acting everything. GR8! They should word their god damn information sheet better
