Back at SBPD headquarters, custodial crew were cleaning Interim Chief Harris Trout’s office after Mary Lightly’s brains and blood were splattered everywhere.
“The morherfucker didn’t even have the decency to hire an outside cleaning crew before he blew his brains out??”, he screamed out loud to nobody in particular.
“HOW COME WE HAVE ZERO LEADS ON THAT ARSON CASE FROM NIGHT 1!!”, screamed Harris.
Officer Reaper stepped forward
“Umm, excuse me sir, but I actually determined that Army Johnson, the former Santa Barbara Fire Chief had been responsible for the burning of Ewan O’Hara”
