Same old!

We've got the same out of touch politicians that are completely incapable of addressing the major issues of the day.

Brexit is going nowhere, because despite the popular vote for it, the politicians are by and large against it.

We still can't even have a conversation about the trouble we are having with Islam and integration, because it's not politically correct to do so...

And people continue to be arrested for jokes and 'hate speech'.

I'm really cynical about the whole state of things right now, and I really don't see how things are going to improve. Not only is our government inept, but so is the opposition. They all seem to be living in another world.

EDIT: cynical, but not hopeless.

EDIT 2: OH, and our moronic government recently decided to deport people that WE invited to come here 50 years ago.

I think Swedish Democrats are gonna do very well. Not sure what to make of that, as I don't know much about them.

Swedish election's on September 9th, so something like 3.5 months from now.

Ah, the Swedish Democrats. They're our most right wing party, further right than the Moderates (who has historically held the title of the right wing party).

The Sweden Democrats used to be 100% Nazis back in the 90s or something. It's a party based on right wing nationalism with a hard stance against immigration.

The left here consists of the Social Democrats/Left/Enviromentalists and the classical right/moderates consists of Liberals/Moderates/Christian Conservatives/Enviromentalists 2.0

Sweden Democrats are a bit further to the right. They've been climbing the polls more and more these last 5-6 years, due to the failure of the established politicians and a large influx of immigrants, but this last month they have really skyrocketed in the polls, as the two historically big parties (Moderates and Social Democrats are losing ground).
