Reviews are solid. I think I’m making a trip back to the theater for this. Can’t think of a better movie for it right now, the theater experience for the first one was unrivaled
it was okay. It really felt like more of a long TV episode than an actual movie
I wasn't nearly as high on the first as a lot of people tho so if you liked that one you'll probably like this one too. It hits a lot of the same notes
I was excited but the trailer gave me big "people are the real monsters" which is just so tired at this point. I've seen enough episodes of walking dead thank you.

I just watched it last night.
I agree that it felt like a long tv episode rather than a movie. I wouldn't say it was as good as the first but it was nice to see those characters again and the acting was really good.

I liked the plan to get the radio to broadcast the signal, but it all felt kind of anti-climatic. I was expecting a bigger result I guess. All that mission ended up doing was saving the people who wouldn't have needed to be saved if everyone had stayed put. And it got all those people on the safe island killed! I really enjoyed the beginning of the movie. It was nice to see how it all started and to have Krasinski in there. Will we be seeing another sequel down the road?

Some friends saw it and raved about it. The stranger next to me was openly weeping at the end..?
I thought it was fine but kinda had nothing new going on. Monster/horror wise it was easily the weakest of the three. The tense scenes were pretty standard and it had no interesting set pieces. It felt like the whole movie took place on one street aka set. It really would've benefitted from one or two clever, suspenseful sequences. Like bathtub scene in pt 1, the nail, the baby floating in the water, the dock scene/train scene/bear trap scenes in pt 2. This had NOTHING! Just the subway full of water but that was whatever
The two leads are both very good and the cat was great but also unrealistic
