I had never heard of it until just now but apparently 4 of my friends own it too? The description sounds great, might try it out tonight

I haven't played Brothers yet, but I think you can use a keyboard.

I have it but it's one of the ones I've never played. I can go try it now and see how it runs with keyboard

I know, but some people on the forums have said that they were able to play without one (unless they completely removed the keyboard stuff). It's just less efficient.

Yeah I can confirm. There's no problems with keyboard only but it does feel a little off.

Based off of my 13 minutes of play time, some parts seem a little ridiculously slow. Most of that time was spent clearing a single obstacle

I have Brothers on XBox. I only played it a little bit. You basically need a controller since it kind of cuts the controller in half with one side controlling one brother, joysticks included. Seemed okay from what I played. It's pretty similar to that Goats on a Bridge game that came with the RPG Maker bundle a lot of us bought in control scheme, except it's more story-based.

I tried Brothers last night and stopped after like 15 minutes because the controls annoyed me so much. I'm sure you get used to them after a while but eh

Controller. What are the keyboard controls like? Arrows and WASD for each brother I assume?

Honestly I feel like it wouldn't make much of a difference either way since the main problem for me at least was knowing which side applied to which brother at any time

I had that same reaction using keyboard. It wasn't terrible, just annoying

http://www.theastronauts.com/2015/09/the-vanishing-of-ethan-carter-redux-out-now/

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter just released a free update that completely upgrades the game to a new engine, which means that it now has even prettier graphics. Nothing else is different story or quest wise. P NEAT

I think I'll play it soon

Also that trailer is kinda spoiler heavy as far as I can tell. BEWARE

(or not. An older trailer is identical to it. I remembered it being less revealing though)

maybe I'll try it out again. I played it for about an hour one night but got to a certain point where I had no idea what I was supposed to do next and started wandering in circles. The game certainly lives up to its promise of not holding your hand (:
