The reason having a dead townie replace an inactive is kind of weird is not just because of what Lamps said, but also because if someone died a townie for whatever the reason, they could come back as 3rd party/mafia and I think the thought process for everyone else would be weird. Because they were confirmed town at death, but they could very well be something different. I think it just muddies the waters. I still wouldn't even want replacements. Just modkill them or wait until they get lynched.

I've been a replacement in a few games after dying. It does mean I have had to differentiate what I feel about vlady I posting as opposed to vlady II.

I.e., a lynched Mafia member no, a lynched townie yes depending on role I don't like that. If scum or whoever did effort to get rid of a dangerous player or someone they don't like then that should not come back to haunt them imo. I'd be out for revenge tbh lol.
