Question Penner -- re Jake/Dylan -- Was one hour added on TOP of their taxi time? Or did you count their taxi time as a PART of the hour?

I'm just MESSING! REAL first question: how does it feel to be the winners of THE AMAZING RACE?!?

It is a whirlwind! We felt really dumb at misreading the clue earlier in the leg but are glad we continued to fight in the competitions and get here as quick as possible.

I had a lot of fun running it with one of my best buds and it was a lot of fun talking and strategizing about the comps throughout the race.

The penalty was factored in at the end of the leg. The 60 mins were on top of the taxi ride length.

It feels great, but it's still a bit of a shock! After we were issued the penalty, we thought it was over for us. Nick and Pat were great competitors all race long, so it's no surprise this final leg ended up being so close!

Cool. That is a fair call.

TIB and I have zero time this week to prepare anything. Not even a second. But I don't think we had a chance anyway!

I wanted to be eliminated every week so I could get my time back but it was a fun ride!

Gregg and Pat, congrats again on a great second place finish. I'm going to give your team $10 as a second place prize for making the finale so close and doing amazingly throughout the season!

We don't need to get into the "what ifs?" because that's negative, so tell us what your biggest takeaway from your RACE experience was.

This question is specifically to Vern who owned the transportation decisions this leg. Part of what set you and Gregg/Nick back so much was taking the same exact public transportation route and incurring the 15 minute traffic penalty. Do you feel bad for costing Nick/Pat the first place spot?

I switched it last second too. We were originally gonna take the Monorail route or whatever that thing was. Then I decided subway.

Well originally it was TAXI, but then I realized it said "public transportation" lol
