Looper - literally could make infinite dollars day trading or trading stocks in general |
This situation wouldn't work though I don't think? You're expecting two contradictory things if I understand correctly.
You would trade away something and get a dollar. Loop. Do you keep the dollar, or does everything revert back to where it was? |
It's not that hard to understand. You have information about how a stock price is going to go, you loop an hour back, therefore you can capitalize. Same with what Dylan said on betting. |
It isn't hard to understand if it was clearer. You said day trading. I took that as trading things for money. I know what trading stocks is.
Serious question though, do stocks rise or fall that quickly or is it over the course of many hours/days?

It can change a lot in hour, if you only trade stock that rose 5% and start with $1k, you'd have over $54B, about the same as Mark Zuckerberg's "net worth".
Edit:: accidentally "in a year"

Oddly enough, I voted Superhuman and looper. When I thought about it, looper solves a lot of the things I would want from prodigy (If I were answering questions or doing some sort of problem/stuck in a situation, I could just loop back before it happened to prepare a bit or get the proper answer), and moneybags is essentially worthless when I could go to the roulette tables and win money constantly in massive amounts (for me and my family/friends who come with me).
I thought about efficient, but not needing to sleep = not ever being tired = Bryce doesn't sleep. I would miss out on that time relaxing with someone and also would drive people mad if I'm up 24-7 while they were trying to sleep. I also like food and drinks and it would be weird if I didn't get to enjoy it as much. Also, I want to be fat someday and efficient wouldn't allow that either! >:(

Well I voted Looper and Efficient, finally decided Efficient would benefit me more than Prodigy since I'm sleepy all day every day and have a hard time falling asleep, everything else about it is just a plus.

Efficient and Madman. Efficient is the most useful by far, not having to sleep would be amazing.
And Madman would just be rly fun, especially cuz you wouldn't have to pay/worry about legal/physical/mental troubles

though now that I'm thinking about it more I probably would replace Madman with Looper

tho big dyl made a point in that you could make a shit ton of money by using looper properly. I wouldn't see myself as using looper a lot, just for if really bad stuff happened that I could somehow prevent

You could eat as much food as you want, without worrying about anything.
A person could eat only chicken nuggets and still be healthy.

It's funny to see what quality of life people try to improve using this. It's almost always money. I remember some of our old PotD's always ended up being discussions on how to exploit them for money

Looper was the clear cut #1 choice for me (for money basically), but now I'm thinking I'd rather Prodigy + Efficient. That's a pretty tempting and well balanced combo. Looper feels like something that would be great at the start but could have a very negative long term impact on you. Prodigy and Efficient feel like the most grounded/"realistic" choices that could still lead to a normal (but better) life

"Prodigy: Your IQ is 'raised' 50 points. This affects your reasoning, problem solving, and overall ability to retain new information."
yeah but then you become used to this and no longer feel smarter than you were before. then it won't feel like you have a perk at all
