I find it interesting Boc is willing to lynch me based on no information and only a "oh men you will see" from Patrick. Without being the metagaming whore that I am, it hardly fits his playing style I think.

Plurality is on today so why lynch so early? Ample time for discussion and there is no need to vote just because he wont be on for the rest of the day. People can be lynched by one vote today!

If Patrick used his role on me (which I assume at this moment) and got some result that makes me look scum then its obvious that something altered that information. Whether it was a bus, a hidden role text or something else is impossible to say obviously.

Boc also hasnt called Jeff scum yet so they must be scumbuddies (: (: (:

All joking aside I feel with all the silence here I will be forced to claim soon, which sucks cause I was looking forward to catching some scum with this interesting role!

Whether today or tonight or another night. If you're town Ari, you'll be killed now at some point. And if Patrick's role is legit, he'll be killed soon too. So it might be better to just get things out on the table

I do not believe there is a serial killer in this game.

My theory is based on the one kill that was made last night and the fact that my role kinda indicates that there is a cult leader in this game, probably not the kind we are used too but something new Rob has come up with. That coupled with the fact that this game only has 16 players so it would be very imbalanced for the town to have to fight the mafia + SK + growing cult. This is in now way compelling evidence, I just find it highly unlikely.

I feel like this cult is somewhat different from cults that we have seen in previous games. The cult uses some kind of virus and infects players. I have no idea if the cult leader dies if he targets mafia but I have the feeling he will only fail and not die.

Why do I know this you ask?

Because I have a role very similar to the psychiatrist. However it is not directed at the SK, it is directed at the cult.

I scan players to find if they are „infected“ – which I assume is the method the cult leader uses to grow his cult. I do not think this is a regular cult as I dont think infected players know who infected them, mainly because if I scan an infected player they are healed so if they know the cult leader they would just tell everyone after they are healed. I dont know if players will know they are infected but I think the cult leader might win if >50% of the players are infected, or something like that. I have no idea how the cult leader wins but it surely has something to do with the number of people he can infect.

I have no idea if the infected win with the cult leader, but I doubt being infected constitutes a win.

I think this is a cult because it seems to me that the CDC (Center for disease control?) is the mafia and it doesnt seem like „infector man“ is aligned with them, that would be weird.

I am obviously town because having a scum role like this would be quite ridiculous! Lynching me would be so very stupid since I might be the only thing working against this cult.

Im hoping that the cult leader doesnt have any killing abilities because ill die tonight if thats true. So thanks Patrick :D

I scanned Korr this night, he isnt infected. But I guess that doesnt clear him as town, just uninfected. I guess he could be infected later as well.

But who to vote? I think Boc was very quick to jump on my train without needing much information, which isnt like him. Everyone else seems pretty meh.

I think the case is probably something more like this

The Cult Leader infects someone, and maybe after one day/night of being infected, they convert fully to the cult. They wouldn't know they were infected in the meantime I'm sure. So if you hit the right person in time then you prevent them from switching over. We've seen stuff like that before. Kinda like a poisoner SK who infects someone and they die a day later. Makes a bit more sense than an uninformed Cult I think. Though that's still a possibility

I would hope that the mafia wouldn't kill you tonight since you're a useful tool to stop the spread of the Cult, which the mafia should be pretty scared about

What results could Patrick have gotten that could possibly indicate you? I can't think of much. What's your role title?

Well I didnt mention one thing regarding the role, which is related to the title but I guess it cant hurt. I thought it might hurt my survival chances but I guess the cult leader will kill me anyways since ive outed myself!

If I target the cult leader, I will kill him. So my role is called "Vigilante".

So I do assume there is no real vig, the one we all know and love. So I assume killing roles are few in this game.

Mt bet would be on Patrick being insane, or even on Ari being a miller. He IS trying to stop an infection, just like the CDC claims they're trying to do.

This doesn't sound like a cult to me though. It sounds a lot like the arsonist variation we don't see very often, where the arsonist primes his victims for death, and chose a point later on in the game for the death to actually occur.

I feel like the chances of Ari getting bussed or framed after making only 3 posts on day 1 (not enough for Patrick to have a hunch based off of either) is pretty low, but if what he is saying is true, we're all much safer if he's given he opportunity to continue onwards.

I don't really feel the Boc lynch at all though. I don't think there is anything scummy about adding a few votes on a plurality day! A person could be lynched with a single vote, but not only is that a retarded thing to allow to happen, because then no one can judge based off voting patterns, and no one has to commit to their hunches. And then the vote can just be control by two or three random fucks.

I considered placing my vote on you last night before you actually explained what you were. I'm fairly certain that I believe you, so we need to go for someone else, but I'm not feeling the Boc thing.

Lynching Patrick would also be a mistake I feel.
