The Last Emperor I didn't love
How have you not seen Braveheart? lol |
I thought the Last Emperor was fantastic but I enjoy great cinematography and history more than most I believe. And I tend to value the story itself and the acting over action or bells and whistles. But everyone has different tastes. Lol.

Yeah if you think a 6/10 for Gladiator is outrageous you should see many of Havo’s LB ratings. The man is wild! Different strokes for different folks

So you been stalking my LB ratings? Lol.
Yes it seems our tastes are more opposite than similar when it comes to movies. That’s been well established, but I admire your passion for cinema even if I disagree with your tastes. I do find it oddly rewarding when we agree on certain movies. Maybe because it’s so rare.
But yes to each his own, I believe a movies job is to entertain its audience, if the viewer finds it entertaining for them, then who cares what anyone else thinks.
And yeah Gladiator is a Great movie. Has all the intangibles. I’ve seen it countless times. Never disappoints.

I'm just on LB constantly. Every so often I'll be looking at a movie that everyone loves and it'll receive the classic 2 out of 10 treatment from ole Havo. Basically anything that came out after 1995
