"I have to admit that run for help took it out of me. Mind if I catch a few zzz before taking my watch?" asked Hustus.

##Claim first watch: C - final watch

##Determine what that was: A - ignore it

Did I just hear a twig snap deeper in the woods? Honestly, a lot of twigs probably snap deeper in the woods. We're in the someone's woods, and they have a right to snap whatever twigs they want, because it's their woods. I really only have a duty to keep my own woods. Here, we're someone's uninvited guests. If they leave me be, I'll leave them be.

Ahron was still recovering from having an off day. But the melee had reinvigorated him and he was back on his A-game. Heading into the night his guard was up and he figured he'd take the first look out shift to afford his older and frailer companions some rest.

Ahron: I'll be the first Watcher on the Wall. Get some rest Dumbledore and Dobby (he said looking towards Malus and Greaseface)

Ahron cozied himself next to the campfire and glanced at the other Watchers. Murder Bunny was fiddling with his weapon while muttering gibberish. Tuuluuwaq was checking and re-checking his pelt every 2 minutes to ensure no one stole anything from it. Faerora had already fallen asleep. Rara was sancking on some cookies. Hustus seemed to be busy sketching something on a piece of parchment. Ahron let out a sigh and just started talking to no one in particular

Ahron: I've been with these 2 for a while now (points back to Malus and Greaseface) but it wasn't always a smooth sailing. The first time Greaseface, Malus and I traveled together we came across this peaceful town of Libertatia. All the houses there were painted a sky blue for some odd reason. The village elder, Chelsius greeted them with enthusiasm and fervor. She intorduced us to her village chiefs, most notable among them was Marisius who always seemed to be inebriated yet still able to be coherent. There was also Grantius a jovial and energetic strongman who was in-charge of keeping everyone in Libertatia in check. Greaseface, Malus and I exhanged pleasantries with them all. But when Chelsius told us of the tale of an ancient golden amulet that held immesaruable power, Greaseface's ears perked up. Chelsius informed us that the amulet had been buried under the rubble of a marooned pirate ship just on the outskirts of the village. Everyone in the village of Libertatia had tried their hand at discovering it. Legend had it that a village simpleton by the name of Bretticulus claimed to have found it once but had also lost it the very same day. How or where, no one knew. Greaseface was determined to find this amulet for himself. Being a Goblin, any and all forms of treasure fascinated him. Ahron and Malus cared little for what sounded like an old wives tale. Greaseface surveyed the site of the shipwreck. He remembered he had read about sailors back in his homeland. "Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky at morn, sailors take warn" he thought to himself. And he noticed that there was part of the mast that was painted red. It was high up and so none of the villagers had wanted to risk their well-being climbing that high. But Greaseface was determined. He scurried up to the top and opened up a hollow portion of the mast. He was overjoyed to see he had procured the amulet. "Yesss! The power is mine! This will show the wiazrd and the robot that I am the one in command here! This shall be ... my Captain's idol!" When he returned with the amulet to the village and demanded Chelsius acknowledge his authority, Chelsius couldn't contain her happiness.

Chelsius: Thank you so much for finding that! You see that is an old cursed totem that was hidden out there by our village simpleton, Bretticulus. Most people in Libertatia didn't believe in the hex but a handful used to remind the rest of us every time something went slightly awry. Thank you for taking away that inconvenience for us! Please keep that as a sign of our gratitude. It is gold after all and could fetch you a good price should you sell it!

Ahron: The look on Greasefae's face was priceless when he realized that the amulet he was obsessed with was basically worthless. That incident went a long way in humbling him into the friendly, easy-going Goblin he is today. Of course it wasn't an overnight thing. There was this one time in a village up in the skies called Ukiyo ...

Just then he heard a strange noise from within the forest. Never one to shy away from an adventure, Ahron's first instinct was to bum rush whatever it was. But his time in this world had taught him to fight smart not hard. And he needed to stretch his legs anyways.

##D. Climb a nearby tree, see if you can spot anything.

As Ahron settled into position atop the tree, he wondered about the eclectic group of people he was surrounded by. He tried to think of how he fit into this grand puzzle. He knew where he stood and what his role was. And while he wished from time to time for a slice of his past life, he knew that he had found a purpose in this new world

Vandal nodded at Hustus as he claimed the final watch. The injured giggle dog would prop himself up and take first watch, leaving Marnu with the second.

##Main Quest 1: A

The fighter considered ignoring the noise, as he didn't feel much like moving but... he couldn't let Marnu get hurt just because he had a couple of arrow holes and stab wounds. So he compromised and threw a torch over, immediately calling his title as Keeper of the Woods into question.

Marnu felt a little guilty about the whole gnoll situation. Despite the fact that he had loudly proclaimed that he was defending cart from the inside, there were rumours floating around camp that he his true plan to was to hide in the cart and wait things out. He had no idea how these adventurers had seen through his little white lie, but he felt very bad for letting Vandal and Hustus down. To make it up to them, he offered to take the middle shift of the watch in order to allow them an undisturbed sleep.

## Main Quest 1: Second Watch

As Marnu was sitting around the campfire, everyone began exchanging stories about their lives. Marnu was thrilled because he *loved* telling stories about himself. He decided to tell the story of his first kiss.

Bonus Quest
One day, when he was still a regular size frog, Marnu was hanging out with some of his favorite siblings: Graaba, Schkoonto and Jen. They were his favorites because they weren't afraid of a little bit of adventure and were willing to bend his parents' rules a little bit. His mother and father had strictly forbidden them from crossing the fallen tree with the blue green moss, but Marnu knew that his parents were busy finding dinner and he figured they wouldn't mind if he was gone for a few minutes.

Marnu, Graaba, Schkoonto and Jen all ventured out past the log, and they found a small little tent. Out side there was a young man and young woman. They were staring keenly into a pond. Marnu wasn't sure how to proceed, humans could be erratic - but he figured that they would take no notice of a bunch of frogs just happening to be hopping around the forest so he began to hop past them. But when he and his siblings got close to the strange humans, the humans turned around and lunged at them. They were able to grab Graaba and Schkoonto before himself and Jen were able to hop away.

Marnu and Jen made their way back to the log with the blue green moss, and both of them wept. They had got their siblings captured and maybe killed. What a horrible day! After a few minutes of feeling sorry for themselves, Marnu spoke up "Sister, we need to go back and free our brothers. For if we don't, this decision will haunt our lives forever and our parents will never forgive us."

Marnu and Jen hopped back to where the humans were, determined to protect their siblings. But when they arrived, their siblings were nowhere to be seen. The humans did have a knapsack that was definitely large enough to contain the two frogs, so Marnu and Jen devised an elaborate plan to free their siblings. First they would hop over to the bag, and then they would somehow open the bag.

But as Marnu and Jen charged towards the bag, the humans took notice of them again and were successful at catching them this time. In the hands of the young man, Marnu's life flashed before his eyes. His life had not been very long by this point, so it was mostly just memories of him swimming aimlessly through a pond back when he was a tadpole. But still, he readied for himself for death as surely these humans were going to eat them or sacrifice them for a magical spell. Oddly enough, death never came. The man was simply staring in awe at the woman and Jen.

Marnu turned his head just in time to see the woman bring Jen up to her lips and kiss her. But this was no ordinary kiss, for a blue light began to envelop Jen and she began to grow and transform. Her skin lost its green colour, and she sprouted hair on the top of her head... before Marnu knew it he was looking at a beautiful human woman. She was wearing a green dress with a golden crown atop her head. Jen hugged the woman who had just kissed her and said some words that Marnu couldn't understand.

She then turned to Marnu, and started croaking in the Frogfolk language "Well I suppose it is time you now know the truth Marnu. I am Princess Jen, from the far off land of Saldaea. When I was 7, I was kidnapped by an evil witch and turned into a frog. Ever since, my father has been ordering his army to find all the frogs on the continent and kiss them, so that they might break the spell. Your parents were kind enough to take me in, feed me, teach me their language, and love me as one of their own while my parents troops searched for me. I must find them, and express my gratitude."

Jen then carried Marnu back to his parents home, where Graaba and Schkoonto had safely returned to. By the time they arrived there, Pricess Jen had lost a shoe and her gown was covered in mud, but she had a smile on her face because the curse had been broken. She expressed her gratitude to both Marnu's parents, and left them with a large pouch of gold, for they might need it if they were ever to integrate with human society. This is the gold that Marnu would eventually end up using when he set out into the world to win back the love of his life.

Jen then turned to Marnu, and thanked him. If it weren't for his decision to be bold and explore the marsh, she never would have run into her father's forces. She picked up Marnu, and kissed him delicately on the head. She told him, that should he ever make his way to Saldaea, he will be known as a hero there.

Side Quest 1: Folk Hero

Marnu had just finished telling his story as he looked around the group. The others were staring at him disbelievingly. His ears then picked up on a sound coming from the bushes. He still felt ashamed about the rumours of his cowardice, and decided he must prove himself to the others. He took a deep breath, and then charged full speed at the sound.

As Rok takes the first watch, Ordella says she'll take the last. Sitting by the fire, she decides to share her first memory with The Shadow One:

"I fell in love with him during my first true fight with my new powers. Fire is the base form of magic and the best way to learn control. He sent me and three of his other followers into a Goblin camp to kill and steal as much as we could. His power flowed through me as I burnt the entire camp down to a crisp. Jewels lay within the ashes and my fellow followers and I left with more treasure than I had ever imagined before becoming part of Him. My desire to continue following him only grew from that, the power was nothing i'd ever felt... and I wanted more. "

As the others kind of side eye her with caution, she finally heads off to a deep slumber, dreaming of Him. She tells Khan to wake her once his watch is over.

##final watch

Once she wakes and watches she hears a snap. The sound not only alerts her attention, but it awakens the Shadow One within her. His blood lust rages inside, and while most sorcerers would fight from a distance, she follows His lead and storms over to the noise.

##Charge at it, full speed ahead.

Faerora sat quietly in the back row around the fire, half listening to the tales, half deep in thought. Ordella finished up her story and everyone clapped.

"more more! Her next!" a voice shouted.

Faerora's glowing eyes appeared from under her hat as she lifted her head to see the whole group staring at her and Greaseface pointing in her direction. She was caught off guard and not pleased with the little goblin. Faerora was not one for words and did not want to attract the attention, but it was too late.

There was an awkward few seconds of silence as everyone but Greaseface realized the situation. Suddenly everyone was tense. Wondering what the degenerate elf might say or do.

...

"It's a tale you want?" she muttered

The group sighed a breath of relief and Greaseface cheered.

Faerora cleared her throat and smirked

Ahem

There once was a goblin up the road
Who couldn't leave well enough alone
Every night at my door he showed
Thin, had my patience grown!
So one night I opened the door and asked, "for what is this visit owed?"

I heard from the other goblins, stories of sorcery they sewed!
Ive come to witness magic and I won't leave til I've seen it with my own!
Leave now, goblin, for you do not want to witness this, I forbode
But wouldn't you believe, he was a convincing little creature, he change my mind with one last defiant moan
I granted his wish, with a flick of my wrist, I turned him into a toad

Faerora bowed her head and sat back down on the stump behind the crowd. Greaseface quietly sat down to some playful jeers

"better a toad than a goblin amiright!" someone drunkly cracked from the other side of the fire.

##bonus quest

There once was a goblin from the Plane
Whose efforts to do good were in vain
He wanted a quest
So he put on his vest
And headed to end Papa Smurf's reign

For Greaseface always hated the people in blue
He knew murder was the only thing to do
So he grabbed his mace
and with a smirk on his face
Said "Papa Smurf is dead? Boo hoo."
