good run! Pretty rare to see all 4*+ in the most recent but rewatches is kinda cheating
Silence of the Lambs: a BIG unwatched classic finally off the list. Unlike a lot of classics that I felt like I'd already watched before I watched (*cough*Matrix*cough*), this one mostly lived up for me. Only thing that mildly disappointed was Hopkins which I'm sure I would've enjoyed more if I'd watched it before it became so ingrained in pop culture. Sadly a lot was spoiled for me including the ending, but still great!
Killers of the Flower Moon: not quite a masterpiece, but a damn good movie, probably my favorite of the year so far? De Niro was honestly the best he's been since the 90s, he's actually trying here
Napoleon Dynamite: part one of a very odd movie night double feature! It'd been AGES since I'd seen it...still holds up!
Interstellar: top 3 home theater movie easily, I've rewatched so many times at this point

Dark City - Certified young Zersch classic rewatch. Still adore it, watched director's cut and left with no questions this time.
Exorcist: Believer - I liked the idea of splintered sects of Christianity coming together to try to battle a possession. And I feel like that was actually as far as he got with his idea, too. He clearly wrote this, realized it wasn't that great, and then did whatever he could to attach the Exorcist name to it.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose - Palette cleanser rewatch for the previous exorcism. The movie itself could have used more exorcism and less Law and Order but I still think it's decent.
Anything for Jackson - Low budget Shudder original that surprised and impressed me in a way similar to how I feel about the Void.

Last four!
Dune rewatch - First time since I saw it in theaters (I usually don't really rewatch movies unless they're my all time favorites). Held up!
Dune Part Two - Better than the first
Frenzy - I'd love to watch every Hitchcock movie eventually. This one was solid! I liked it. Took a very unusual approach where it showed us the killer right away and almost spent more time with them than our protagonist
The Prowler - Bad/great 80's slasher with some of those sweet sweet 80's kills I crave

Fargo - a couple of my friends watched the show recently but had somehow never seen the movie, so we fixed that. I still think the TV show is easily better but obviously it owes everything to this movie (esp S1) and it's still a great watch
3:10 to Yuma - pretty fun western that I'd had on my watchlist for ages, ended up getting the blu-ray which I heard good things about, was def a good call. The sound design in this movie is gr8, especially with all the bullets whizzing by in surround. One of Crowe's best performances too
Maestro - eh! Pretty much everything said about this movie was accurate, it's not terrible but definitely pretentious Oscar bait through and through. Pretty much only watched since I happened to be at 9/10 BP nominees, but still kinda felt like a waste of time
Priscilla - pretty good but definitely emotionally muted and repetitive, could've been more than it was. I did really like the contrast with this Elvis performance (which was VERY human) vs the Austin Butler performance which was capturing more of the myth than the man

Late Night With the Devil - Kwuite enjoyable!
Last Voyage of the Demeter - Kwuite a letdown! Huge missed opportunity. I listened to the audible version of Dracula a couple years ago and was like...man that Demeter chapter would make for a great horror movie. Then I googled it and this movie had JUST been announced. But it was so bland. Sad
Black Narcissus - I had no idea what this was but thought it was a horror movie. It was not. It was about horny nuns. But the matte paintings were beautiful!
The Strangers: Prey at Night - Horrible outside of the pool scene and some of the music choices. Wayyyyy too many dumb character decisions, even for a horror movie

my watched movies have really become clogged up with rewatch movies lately. Whenever I have a movie night I tend to pick things that I've seen and that I think they'd like rather than something new to everybody which is more of a RISK

Trying to watch more Halloween based horror movies this October (outside of FD2) since horror movies are a year round thing for me anyway. Trying to get in the SPIRIT!
Four rewatches rn. Terrifier went up for me half a star, the rest exactly as I remembered them
Drop those last four watched

p solid batch
Iron Giant I watched on the plane back from Japan while half-asleep so probably not the fairest SHAKE but alas, didn't do tooo much for me. I also had seen the finale a bunch of times before, just not the whole movie
Kill Bill Vol. 2 I had my friend Bill over to finish the duology which he had never seen before. He of course was pretty upset when Bill was killed
A Simple Plan - another movie night one, this was just as great as I remembered. Billy Bob especially is so great in this. Hot take but I think this is better than Fargo (midwestern, snow-covered, crime-based dramedies). Not sure how this one got so overlooked
The Contestant - great documentary, go in as blind as you can. I prob wouldn't have rated it as high if I knew the background since seeing it unfold is def what did it for me (i.e. it doesn't seem to do much probing beyond the surface), but this was wild. And quite sad!

Cool new feature I just came across (probably just for Pro accounts?). When you click into one of your lists, you can look at the stats of the list, just like the stats for all of your movies overall
