I guess I'm just a bit confused why J would go to such lengths to claim and out himself and have it backfire. He wasn't under any heat iirc? Doing it all just to get third party lynched is weird if he's mafia. Was anyone else under serious threat of getting lynched over Sock that day? A scum buddy that J would be trying to protect?

That is entirely possible, and he was trying to buy town cred.

How he handled this just screams scum besides the N1 thing. He used his role twice and tried to create confusion by not saying anything at all about this?

He's only claimed badger.

It would appear Badger and Spin. Lamps saw him at Spins and he strongly hinted he blocked Badger.

The "Angi-blocker" seemed to have blocked Mittens.

I didn't see anything. I'm thinking J$ was hoping I would say anything or fully claim or whatever lol.

J was suspicions of Spin on D3 too iirc. And Badger is a likely person for town to block. The target choices make sense for J if he's Town but I'm not sure they make sense for the mafia team to go for

I dunnooooooo! I feel like no one else is very resistant to this either which is also a bit odd to me. But it's entirely possible that I'm just the only idiot who isn't convinced

What is your opinion on what happened N1 then? That's kind of what made me lean he was scum coming into today. If you assume town RB blocked Angi, then that points to J& being scum RB. And unless Mittens or Spin is lying about being blocked there is a second RBer

If there are two roleblockers, it makes sense that one is town and one is scum. On N1, Angi had no reason to lie about being roleblocked, so it would make sense town blocked her. That leaves the mafia blocker action, and Sock was obviously blocked N1, which Johnny strongly hinted at claiming as he pressured him yesterday.

All the pieces line up for Johnny to be the scum blocker. The bigger question to me is, what to make of the whole "I'll wait for Badger" and then Badger jumping right in and saying "oh yeah, I was blocked too" series of posts. That just screamed of people working together to me. The whole "guys, I have two blocks, so let me block one of you to throw suspicion off when either of us gets lynched".

I already explained this I think. It looked like he was mafia roleblocker based on the night 1 events, so I was just testing him. A simple "I didn't visit Spin" could have convinced me that he had a different role and that there'd be a different explanation for N1.
