Dark Shadows is GR8 My friend had a DVD box set and when we went camping in his parents' trailer one summer we binge watched the entire first 2 seasons.

I’ve seen every god damn episode multiple times. All 1000+ of them

He rents the DVD sets from Netflix and as soon as he finishes the series he starts all over again. I know the tale of Barnabas Collins far too well

Also he gave our childhood dog a middle name: Barnabas

My name was picked by my dad's youngest sister. In Hindu mythology, Lord Krishna is a FAN of consuming raw butter. To the point where one of his aliases is butter-thief which in Sanskrit is written as Navneet-chor. That's where my name comes from. Navneet = butter.

My grandmother (dad's side) wanted to name me something else. If that had ended up being my name I would have changed it by now. It was THAT bad.

Middle name is my dads, and I was originally going to be a Daniel, but after a close friend named their son that a few month prior to me arriving, they settled on a Bible name. Not sure why Seth?

This is true ... "lesser known son of Adam and Eve..."

Another theory is what would sound the most menacing when yelled at by my mother ...

My older brother is John Paul (two family names) and they were annoyed that everyone always shortens or nicknames his name (funnily enough he goes by JP to everyone outside of our immediate family). So they picked Brian to discourage nicknames. One of my uncle johns consistently tries to make bri-guy a thing, but it doesn't happen. Middle name Thomas for my grandpa.

But the fun part is that my dad tried really hard to get one of us to be named Ola Aloysius (my great grandfather). That was a hard no from my mom.
