no i think its a variant. 3rd party where if he leads say 3 lynches he wins. key being he has to be first on the train, hence why he made up a thing about having to be the first vote. this way people will go out of there way to let him get the first vote.

am i wrong? maybe i read to much into this. i just cant see the role you are claiming being in play. dont think i have ever seen a role restrict voting that much.

But, he hasn't even done that. He hasn't asked people to unvote and let him be the first vote. He hasn't started trains and then pushed hard to get people to join him. His voting behavior has been more consistent with being concerned that he's not voting after someone because he doesn't want to die.
