It has to be at level 30, and before you level up, the battle in which you have Inkay level up, you have to hold your DS upside down. Same goes for Pancham apparently. The battle has to start with you holding it upside down.

Maybe the devs were just really drunk one night when they thought that up.

Imagine this:

Paul is yelling at his 3DS telling his poor level 99 Inkay to evolve until he gets so angry he throws his 3DS and leaves, then his Inkay finally evolves because Paul's 3DS landed upside down.

Fuck. I wish I wouldn't have read this whole thread now... Now I want to play it and have not owned one since SNES/original Gameboy. I torrented Black. It was the last one I played.

Pancham evolved at level 32 and you have to have a dark type in your party (mine was Inkay - changing the world, one evolution at a time)!!

Just caught myself a SHINY Heatmor - my brothers were like "WTF, we haven't seen one yet and we finished the game way before you", haha.

I hope paul doesn't see this thread with all of your spoilers about his beloved Inkay.
