| I only use Active Topics so this is all meaningless to me |
I've never once used Active Topics. I just click into the few forums I frequent when I see the color pop up (to both see what is new and to make the new go away). |

How? Unless you want me to just enter a thread not having any idea what the topic of discussion is, I don't see the point.
If I want to discuss music, I go into the Music forum and see what's new. If I want to check out an active game, I do so. If I chose to ignore TV/Movies/Video Games because I don't really follow those too closely, then I can all right from the main page.
I'm glad that feature is available for those of you who use it, I just don't use it myself. | |
