I agree this was a good ending for Lily, but I think it was kinda a lackluster move.
From my perspective (not being an avid confessional reader) it would have been a good move to unexpectedly take out someone who was a threat. Given how sure the Lily vote seemed. But, no one would have wanted to rock the vote to become collateral damage given none of them felt the mounting pressure to get them out in the near future (which should be a huge warning sign for all of them).
