So, Draco and I started off clicking together this round well. It's clear that he likes me, and we need each other to make it out of here alive. Great start, right? Then, Snape and Ron stick with it, and all of them are on board with the four of us working together. HOWEVER, this is where our problems start...
Draco will absolutely not vote for Mira. He refuses. He said he's only going to vote Amos out of the Fish N Chaps squad. Now, Snape had believed that Draco and Mira could've had a side thing, or Newt could be involved. I think we're seeing that manifest here, and he's protecting them and trying to work out a deal with Ron and I, so he's in complete control. If he takes Amos out, the only person gunning for him goes home. Then, next round, he can do whatever he wants because he'd control half the votes. In that scenario, I think he'd go for Snape, and I don't want that one bit.
Meanwhile, Amos and Mira have been more chummy than ever. The claims of the alliance with them and Newt don't seem real anymore, because there's no way they'd be kissing my ass this hard now. There's also a real chance Draco can be tipping Mira off, and if she sucks up to me, I won't vote her. I'm hesitating on publicly exploding now because without Draco, there isn't a point. It would just shift a target onto me without any of the perks of taking an idol out of the game. My morals are tugging on me too - I like Mira. I want to do it, but it's looking more and more like it'd be a pointless play for attention rather than a calculated blow up for funsies.
Now, what to do? I trust Snape and I trust Ron, but I don't trust anyone else. Draco says he wants to work with Ron and I, and wants Amos out. Snape wants Mira out. Mira wants Snape out kind of, she just doesn't want to get voted out. Ron will do whatever, and I don't know where Amos or Newt stand. The vote is currently like a blind man with Parkinson's trying to shoot: ever changing and inconsistent, in a very scary way. I wanted the game to heat up, and it absolutely has, even though it was in a different way I intended. If things begin to devolve, there's a chance Snape and I will go nuts and try and idol someone out regardless of what Draco wants, and that would put us at a 3-3 vote next round if Draco doesn't plan on doing shit.
It's gonna be a long ass night.

You won't fucking believe this, I'm upset with myself. There could be an easy vote and I won't stand for it.
SO
Last we left off, it was Amos vs. Mira with the chance of a Draco blindside in the works. Ron wanted to vote Amos out and secure Draco's loyalty, even when it's clear Draco won't vote for Mira (or Newt), and only for Amos, without ever telling us why. I am a very, very firm believer in "the enemy you know is less dangerous than the enemy you don't know". I don't see Snape as my enemy, but for Ron's sake, I phrased it this way: we know Snape wants Mira out, and then Newt second, and we know exactly his reasons why. Meanwhile, we know Draco wants Amos out, but we don't know why he's protecting Newt and Mira. Snape is predictable, and therefore less dangerous. Draco, meanwhile, is an unknown, and is more dangerous. Ron didn't see it like that. He thought going against Mira or Newt would isolate Draco and hurt us at merge, and I don't know why he thinks that. If Mira goes home, it's Draco and Newt in the minority (assuming Amos votes with us), and Ron thinks that's a problem. Meanwhile, if it's Snape who's in the minority, we'll be fine. I think Snape has more ties to people at the merge than Draco does, in addition to being more trustworthy. Also, Ron's mind is flipping and flopping all over the place. I'm gonna have to hold his hand all of tonight, and reach out before the deadline to make sure he doesn't do anything too silly. I love him, he's a ton of fun, but he's paranoid and emotional. It makes him fun to talk to, but hard to play with. Regardless of the difficulties, he's my Ronald and I'll lay down my life in the game for him.
Being the whore that I am, I've talked with everyone online (so not Newt) about the vote, and I've thrown Newt's hat into the ring as a possible peacekeeping vote. It's clear Snape and Draco cannot work together on this and be relied upon in a group of four, so I went outside that foursome to speak to Amos and Mira about it. Mira is very, very against Snape. I understand why, given that he's literally told her he's voting her out (even though he's just fucking with her), and initially seemed against Newt. However, she said if there is a group of four voting that doesn't rely on Snape, we'd be set. Amos will absolutely vote Newt, he just wants to survive and is worried. Draco even said he'd vote for Newt, as long as Amos "put down the gloves". Poor Amos, he didn't sign up to play scapegoat. When I told Draco that Amos will do anything to survive, he said he's on board. Ron said he's on board. Snape will be on board. Well, wow, what do you know? That's a unanimous vote, right?
Wrong. I do not want an easy, 6-1 vote on Newt at ALL. This is the round where something big can happen and really come into play, and if I'm forced to do a 6-1, I'll be miserable. What I'm hoping happens is that Draco/Mira/Newt actually plot against Snape/Amos/Ron/I (or I just throw them under the bus and make it seem like they are), and get this new group of four to kill Mira. That would be AMAZING. After I channeled the ghost of Henry Clay to form a compromise, I just turned around on it and got exactly what I wanted. Now THAT is the Don Way. The only major wrench that could muck it up would be petrification - that dictates the outcome of this plan. If one of our four gets got, then it'd be a 3-3 tie, and that means RAWKS. Well, no. Ron wouldn't go to rocks for anyone. I would go to rocks, Snape would go to rocks. Amos would, if he's the one in danger, but there's a very real chance that Snape could be the one catching votes instead now.
I've brokered a truce vote onto Newt, but that could very well change. I'm taking the rest of the night off, and when I return tomorrow, it'll be time to see who fucking ruins my hard work.

Oh I can't edit so I'll add this in.
I've used Newt as my sacrificial lamb for a few reasons. Personally, I find him hard to talk to, and I don't really like him. I don't dislike him either, but I don't see any major reason to keep him around. Strategically, I can point to the fact that he didn't submit and cost us the challenge, and that he hasn't been around at all today. Who tries to defend someone who doesn't participate in a challenge and then doesn't show up after the challenge to talk to his tribe? Him being offline means that he has zero control or say in what's happening, and using that to my advantage now to calm the tribe down and keep emotions from boiling over, which kind of was happening - Mira was getting really heated over Snape, and Draco takes Amos' idea of voting him out super personally. Lastly, Newt is someone who was already discussed as a potential target, and there were people willing to vote for him right off the bat. He's a safe and easy vote, and when things get that chaotic and overwhelming, safety is a hot commodity. It's a classic dictator move, and I played them like a fiddle. If there is a plot against Snape or I, great, I'm expecting it. I'm like Stalin or Mao. I talk about spreading communism a lot (it's really low-hanging fruit, trust me), I know how to seize power, and I know how to hold onto it once I've taken it. Chairman Lockhart has absolute control, and as long as that stupid basilisk doesn't mess with my plans, my will shall be done.

After the ideal 6-1 Newt vote that wasn’t ideal, things have changed once again. Newt is adamantly pushing for Snape, and I liked faking a Snape vote only to idol Mira out, but that fell through the cracks. Draco seems pretty insistent on Newt now, and at this point, I’ll take it. Draco, Amos, Ron, and I voting Newt is fine. I’m very underwhelmed at this, because I wanted to raise some hell, but I guess I’ll have to wait until merge to start burning shit to the ground. Snape wants us to play with Lily and Angelina, but I don’t. Fuck that.
Additionally, I’m playing Snape’s idol null onto Newt, just in case Newt and Mira get fishy and whip out an idol. It should be 4-2, but honestly, I’d LOVE a 3-3 vote. Rocks are a ton of fun, even though I don’t expect people like Ron to go to rocks. He thinks he’s going home, and it’s hard to deal with. Hell, I might even flip on Snape and keep his idol in my pocket. It would be a serious dick move, but one I think he’d respect if it led to me killing all the big threats. It’s all theoretical, and I’m tired. I’m expecting things to heat up in the last hour before the deadline, so we’ll see if I have more to say then.

2-2-2
Just like Snape predicted.
That last minute switch was a nice save, because I think I’ll win on the revote.
I’m for Snape
Amos is for Snape
Newt is for Mira
Which leaves either Draco or Ron to act as the last vote. I think I can swing Ron, due to me telling him 4 minutes before the deadline about the Amos idol and me nulling Mira. I’m honestly in awe, this was insane. If Mira goes, that’s two idols and a nullifier out of the game, and I’ll be holding one of the last two idols left. Simply incredible.

Snape’s most likely done for.
Ron decided he’s voting Snape out over Mira, even when Mira doesn’t really like him and has an idol and I’m so bummed. This was our round to make magic happen, and I didn’t play the idol and it all fell short. Snape is supportive as hell, which is great, but I feel like I let him down. It was an insane round, and I’m glad it was so much fun, but I’m sitting at the end with a sour taste. My two moves against Ron finally emboldened him to make a move against me, and it’s fair. It’s a dumb move, but I understand why. I’ve torched that bridge. I’ve torched my relationship with Mira, and I’ve definitely done damage to my relationships with Draco and Newt. I had the world in the palm of my hand and it just turned to ash. I can’t give up, and I can’t stop fighting. Snape and I agreed we’d make this game entertaining, and I have to do it for him. I’m going to carry him with me during the rest of my time here, and he’s given me the gift of an idol. I have to make merge and raise some hell, and do my best to avenge him. Mira, Newt, and Ron are all going to go home, and I’ll die trying to make it happen. Now it’s just time to wait for the results to learn the inevitable.
