Swap happened.

Second shortest Quidditch match happened.

Minerva returned from vacation.

Chaos reigned and votes happened when we lost at Quidditch because I couldn't be Keeper.

This will be all pretty after results. Hope I stay.

I can't edit, and that's fine.

It was a perfect night for a good old-fashioned game of Quidditch. Cormac could not wait become the seeker for his newly switched up tribe and the first time he could call himself a Serpensortian. It seemed to fit in this game of lies and deceit. Serpents were well known for the crafty, conniving ways and Cormac was starting to feel right at home until the announcement was made that no Keepers would be present in the match that night. Cormac was dumbfounded. No Keepers in a game of Quidditch? What kind of rule-bending madness was this? Instead, Cormac would be a chaser and he was so shocked and unprepared for this turn of events he promptly went to the bathroom to dispel his nerves. As a result, Cormac had a late start getting up into the air and scoring goals for Serpensortia, but at least he was able to participate and did the very best he could under the circumstances.

It was with a heavy heart that Angelina Johnson, their self-appointed Seeker, who everyone knows as a superb Chaser, was not able to find and catch the snitch before Cormac's former compatriot, Newt Scamander. Thus, Cormac was forced to go back to tribal council to vote for the fourth time in five rounds. He was beginning to think himself a jinx and was downcast despite Minerva McGonagall not showing up for the match at all due to personal health issues. He knew the team as a whole wanted people who would be reliable and Minerva not being there for the team when they needed her most seemed a good enough reason to send her packing.

The next day went by quietly, it was an unease as Cormac and never felt. That was until Minerva decided to fight back. Cormac knew the tribe was taking every possible action to make the dear woman believe she was safe. A false group of the women on the tribe was formed to spearhead a movement to dispose of the men of the tribe, which consisted of just George and Cormac. Minerva knew better and confronted Cormac about how he planned on voting. Cormac decided to take the honest route and tell Minerva he was voting for her, not because he had been told the plan outright, but because he expected the run around he was getting from others was pointing Minerva's direction.

Minerva paid Cormac back for his honesty by giving him as much secondhand information regarding the Hufflepuff idol and clues to the correct combination she had swiped from Angelina. She had even offered to give Cormac her supply of potion ingredients, but he suspected that may have been a ruse for his vote in return. As much as Cormac would have loved to take a shot at a much more dangerous player in Angelina, he knew the support would never be there. Not with Angelina and Maxime being close, and Maxime having a solid relationship with Fred, and Angelina more than likely having a positive relationship with Poppy. Cormac was regretful that Minerva could not recover the time she had lost because he had grown quite close to her in the few hours before the voting deadline and felt his heart break a bit when her torch was snuffed despite trying to cause a rift between Angelina and Maxime and trying to bring enough people together in order to change her fate. She was a fighter and Cormac gave her all the moral respect he could muster.

Finally, after a well deserved break, Cormac, as with past rounds, listed his tribemates and how well he had communicated with them thus far based on O.W.L. grades: (O)utstanding, (E)xceeds Expections, (A)cceptable, (P)oor, (D)readful, (T)roll.

1. Angelina Johnson - E
2. Fred Weasley - A
3. Lily Potter - E
4. Madame Maxime - A
5. Poppy Pomfrey - O
6. Minerva McGonagall - E

Cormac knew he would need to continue to play it as safe as possible while he was still currently on the outside. He did hope his position might change in the coming days and he was thrilled to hear that they would be attending a party where he could eat, drink, and be as charming as possible. Cormac hoped a merge might be on the horizon with thirteen players left and he would be able to use that time to blend in with the crowd for a couple of rounds before making his move to dominate the rest of this competition.
