I didn’t actually think Rita would go home what the FUCK

Okay so

Yesterday I was considering throwing that stray vote on Rita, just because it would’ve been fun. She’d have freaked out and the reaction would’ve been priceless.

Lily came to me 45 minutes before the deadline and tried to give me a pitch to vote Cormac instead. Now, Cormac made one mistake after being a strong performer in the previous two challenges. Rita, meanwhile, bombed the first two and has been the weakest link so far. Worse than that, she got super annoying and suss, and I don’t want to tolerate people being annoying. Additionally, she told Ron about the split vote thing and threw my name out, so Rita clearly wasn’t tight with me anymore. I told Lily that I’d vote Rita, so Lily switched it up and voted Rita.

Now, here’s where it gets good: I forgot Cormac was petrified. I just figured it’d be a 3-2 vote, and Rita would be a mess trying to figure out who voted for her. Lily then tells me she has a double vote, so in my head, I’m thinking it’ll be 3-3 and that would be even more hilarious. A surprise tie in the third round? Yes please. I‘d even go to rocks for it, just because I love rocks. THEN RITA GOES HOME 3-2. It sounds so dumb, but I DID NOT EXPECT THAT. I was dying after results because she actually went home. I just went with my heart and my heart said “Rita sux” and it WORKED.

The ONLY downside about it is that Ron got left out, and I really don’t want to hurt that relationship. I talked to him after, and he was pissed off at first, but Rita had been annoying him too and I think he understood that I’m just a massive idiot. I wanna move forward with him more than anyone else, so I really hope he’s sincere in that we’re good. Losing Ron over this vote would suck.

I was the one responsible for picking who received each topic in the trivia challenge, and I fucking killed. Now, the ONLY reason I think I did a great job was because Newt had previously guessed this would be a trivia round, so I had some general idea of which topics people would be good at. Newt had said music and movies, Lily had said HP trivia and movies, and Ron had said science. Now, the categories ended up being pretty close to what people had wanted, so I tried to give them out accordingly.

Cormac is literally always on Netflix whenever we're talking, and he never gave any input about it earlier in the day before the challenge, so I gave him TV/movies as a safe bet he'd do a decent job with all of that. It's probably the easiest category of the bunch, and it'll give him a chance to wow the other tribe members.

Because Cormac got movies, Newt got music, as that was his second choice. Newt had actually thought I would do a great job with movies, and he's right, I would've, but I took sports because ORGers outside of Rustic don't know a lot about sports. The sports questions weren't that hard, but I did have some googling to do because I didn't know the 100M dash record or anything about college football, but the rest I had some general understanding of.

Lily got HP trivia due to movies being taken, and she seems like she's a pretty big fan of the series, which is good. She'll definitely do a better job than Rita would have.

Ron got Survivor because he's a huge RTV person, and is consistently sending me updates about Little Women LA and has talked about his love of drag queens. It's a pretty safe bet, and even if someone could've done better, their talents are best suited towards other things.



Now, if we LOSE this challenge, which I actually don't think we will, I'm not just gonna pair up with Lily and Newt. Ron is my favorite person, and I want to coordinate the vote with him. I think there's a chance of me getting burned for trying to work with him this round after isolating him last round, and that's fine, I get it. I'm here to play with the people I like the most, and Ron is my favorite on this tribe. If it bites me in the ass, so be it, shit happens. I honestly don't really have a singular least favorite now - I don't know Lily or Newt a ton, and Cormac and I have returned to a normal state following our beautiful heart-to-heart. All of them are people I'm 100% fine with killing - just not Ron.
