I got to Hogwarts safely, although I missed the Hogwarts Express by nearly a full day! All of my luggage has made it as well. My first day in this game was a bit of a flop. It started with me not realizing there was a challenge until it was over. Not that I would have wanted to win it, but I would have at least liked to show a participation in it just for the sake of being a somewhat active player. My second flop was not remembering all of the rules to the idol hunting stuff and immediately going at all the tasks for the polyjuice potion. Kill me lol! I thought I would be sneaky and do them while most of my tribe was gathered on rabbit watching Sorcerer's Stone. Instead it was like I snuck out of the house thinking my parents were home but they weren't even home and I wasted energy being sneaky, ha!
I have made a few friends, I will have to write you about them in my next letter. Sorry this one is so short, lots of homework on day one (aka re-reading everything hehe). I also need to do my nails, they are a mess!

Don't get mad... but I may get expelled from school. We had our first group project today and I became so frustrated I mayyyy have sent our professor, gHost Cedric a few death threats. I know being impatient and sassy are not the way you raised me BUT IT WAS SO ANNOYING!!!!

So this year I have come back a new me. By that I mean I have been very assertive, I almost feel like I am approaching things somewhat aggressively. This is a side of me I have not yet explored when it comes to this world. I have also not held back my opinions... WHO AM I???? Last night I told Snape several times that I thought he was boring.
I then proceeded to brutally beat him at chess!
Last night was quite eventful actually. I gathered our tribe to watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and most everyone joined at least for a little while. I then thought I would be sneaky and try to make the Polyjuice Potion. Silly Ang... tsk tsk tsk. After that everyone except Snape was off to bed. We played that one game of chess and then I was playing around on the board and making my Remembrall post when I quoted the first post in The Great Hall and discovered there was A HIDDEN LINK FOR A SECRET ADVANTAGE! I should have known to look for something like that since I was here last season! I decided to go ahead and share it with Snape. I also send a message to Mira because I saw her on the board but she was logged out of Slack I guess. From there Snape asked if I wanted to work together on some idol hunting. We shared all the guesses we had then discussed the riddle. Snape mentioned the old seasons board and I pretended to not know how to find it. (I am pretty sure Snape is Nav because "Sebius Black" was a recent long onto the board both last night and today and Snape is going by "Prince Sev"... smh Nav!) ~Anyway~ Snape was reading through confessionals and the first thing I did was scroll to the bottom and notice that the newest member on the board was named "Ravenclaw Idol Clue". asdsasdf I clicked on the link and found the next clue which has me stumped. "Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?". I decided to tell Snape but not to tell Mira about this one. I want to try and keep the searching for the Ravenclaw idol to a few people. The more people that know the more likely it is they will tell someone who will tell someone and then all the idols will be gone! This will be something I only talk to Snape about, hopefully he keeps this a secret. I did tell Mira what Snape shared with me about his Slytherin and Hufflepuff rooms though.
Mira is my lil squishy (Finding Nemo reference) and our duo name is Angelfish - HOW CUTE IS THAT!!? Mira is so clever! We have an alliance with Madame right now and we are trying to reel in Lily. I pitched to Mira that we should have a 4 person alliance with Lily and Snape but I guess Lily and Snape aren't as close as I assumed. Mira and I both have talked about how grumpy Snape is, he has been teasing her about stealing "his" idol haha! Mira is very social and already has multiple alliance offers so I can't be certain she is completely loyal to me or not.
Madame is very sweet but it is very frustrating when she speaks in French. Hopefully she can stick to just using one or two French words like Fleur last season. Fleur was easy to understand, Madame just goes off in full French sometimes!
Lily is someone I would like to get closer with. We have bonded over both being from NoCal (lol) and she is extremely nice. If I didn't know any better I would think she was me, kek.
I really enjoyed the short convo I had with Newt right at the beginning of tribes yesterday. He and I both like Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco. That is pretty much the extent of our interactions though. That fizzled quickly!
Amos is very sweet and we have had a few very surface level conversations. I would like to see where this can go though because I get good vibes from him!
Minerva hasn't been around much but she has promised to show us some pictures she has from visiting Olivander's Shop and Platform 9 3/4 in London.
That leaves us with DUDley... so far I haven't had any conversations with him, hence the DUD in DUDley. We'll see where this goes.
I am sad that I didn't receive any post today... have you forgotten about me already?
Slack somehow jumped to a chat with Lily as I was talking to Snape and OFC it has to be while I was sending messages about the Ravenclaw idol. UGH So now I have opened up to her about the idol info I know with Ravenclaw and we have also shared our first guesses for Hufflepuff.
I've lost my mind. I have a google sheet where I have eliminated millions of possibilities for the Hufflepuff code and I am down to thousands. Snape doesn't think Amos's method of guessing all the same digit each round to eliminate possibilities is smart but I think it is. I will post a screenshot of my other sheet just showing what progress I've made, below. I am unsure if anyone is lying to me, Snape I think is being honest. He gave me the :roomofrequirement : thing today and I now have an advantage in a challenge up to final 4! Snape has an idol negator - very nice, and Lily has a double vote. I wish Lily would have the idol because I don't want her voted off her tribe if they lose. Lily gives me Luna vibes (well really more so Andrea Warriors vibes when Keri was playing as a newbie.) She says she is a newbie but I am unsure!
Today we swapped and the moment the news broke my heart sunk. Last season I was swapfucked and I was fully prepared to have it happen again. Luck was on my side though and I was swapped into a tribe with 4/5 OG's! PLUS I loved Madam Pomfrey pre-tribes. Now if any of you know me you know how much I do not like Pagongings... I fear that is what we are going to be seeing in mini-form if we go to tribal and I do not want this to happen. Please please please let us win immunity. Actually please let us and Lily's tribe win because I am worried she will go for being the only one of us on that tribe.
I have a new goal for this Slytherin potion thing. Collect as many items as I can - and if I am allowed to hoard duplicates then I will just keep them and prevent the idol from being brought to life.
So I am at the very end of helping host an open ID. We are at final 3 and my other host needed me to come help watch the memory challenge we were running. I look down at the account......., NAV WYD?!!!!
