I was watching over lexis shoulder, she voted and then closed the laptop before the reveal. I missed Anders climax and then did shots and the Cha Cha slide in my kitchen with her, still missing the reveal.
Dark times. | |

Wow that tribal, I feel bad for Jess and I respect what she did, she did what she saw she had to do to get herself in the best spot, she didn't deserve all of the yelling from Anders. He was mad I get that but he shouldn't have just taken it out on her and yelled at her :(

Pretty interesting tribal. I’m not really caught up on shit so if my opinion sounds stupid just disregard this.
Okay so obviously power play by Jessica there, but i low key feel like it was kind’ve unnecessary in the bigger scheme of things. If the votes were there anyways, she just lost an extra round of immunity and exposed herself as a badass player early in the merge. And obviously Anders was not very pleased and vowed to never vote for her (hopefully he gets over it cuz jurors like that are the absolute worst). Idk from the outside it seemed like a strange Ballzy move.
And for Anders, buddy I was rooting for you hardcore until that blowup. Not a classy exit at all. I get the extreme passion he has for the game and wanting to redeem himself and shit but that was kindve uncomfortable to watch. Either way I do believe he was kinda screwed by the circumstances, and yeah he made some wrong moves but at the end of the day there was really nothing he could’ve even done. From what I saw he definitely improved from last season and had a decent run.

Most recent tribal was 100x more gut wrenching to watch than I expected. My heart really goes out to both parties involved. It's easy to overlook how much time, effort, and emotion you end up putting into these games (Endure more than most).

I think this is the perfect chance for Sarena to lay low for a bit

Chris:
First to ask "is jess okay"
First to say "i should have probably said something"
Probably still in the best position in this whole game, save for maybe Jessaca and her stacked immunities.

For some of Anders perspective, he felt Jess’ reasoning (him not talking to her today) was a personal attack against his level of commitment if it was her honest reasoning and he felt hurt. Not justifying him or anything just saying some of what he’s shared

I think Abby really tanked her position in this game this last round. I feel like everyone but Chris (and Naomi regardless of her dying wish.. and actually maybe Lexi #LongLiveTheCockroach) is a candidate to go for whatever x, y, z reason a person brings up.

The votes were NOT there. Sarena would have left 6-5

Okay so I just rewatched Anders' last stand and I don't really agree with people saying it was a bad look. I understand why Jess got angry; she is the one at the forefront of this elimination and Anders did blow up, but not once did I see the blow up be out of personal attack, it's out of passion. Anders showed real raw emotion and frustration and he has worked so hard and been an integral part of the cast. I didn't really know his work hours and if you would have told me that I wouldn't have even realized. He went all in every round and being done in this way I completely sympathize with him as much as I sympathize with Jess. Of course Jess can't reveal her true cards, and of course the cards she showed Anders would have sent most people into that spiral; whether internalized or externalized is irrelevant. His passion shone through his realism and I respect that.
I never really followed 6 and never really knew if I'd consider Anders one of my favourites, but he's shown so much character and passion that it's hard not to love the guy. F for respect dude. Your presence will be missed.

Oh okay I was confused because someone said he would’ve left anyways. Makes sense now why she had to make the move.
