I feel like I've aged 45 years from that last round.

I think Abby is doomed at this point. She did not help herself at all after the tribal was over. People like Bryce Alex and Chris aren't going to stick their necks out for her.
If I had to rank everyone in tiers based on current position and gameplay it'd probably be:
Top Tier
Chris
Bryce
Jess
Middle Tier
Sarena
Alex
Naomi
Lexi
Bottom Tier
Matt
Danny
Abby | |

Honestly I think I'd put Alex into top tier, too.

Okay I would actually put him into bottom tier, lmfao. Alejandro is such an enigma. 💕

I agree with Kilby, I think people are undervaluing him a little, yeah his game is really messy but the spot he's in now is really quite good.

Position wise he's top tier
Gameplay wise he's definitely not right now

I adore Alejandro and love every time I get the chance to chat with him, and don't think it's as if he's going to leave any time soon — so in that regard I agree, but I just don't see any shot of him winning.
He's been a little sloppy the past few rounds, and arguably Anders' elimination here is due to him telling Jessaca a little too much information. Danny is targeting him, and while Danny is harmless it's not great that Jessaca has already thrown his name under the bus a little bit. Furthermore, I think Anders leaving was awful for his game and for some reason he doesn't really see it. Like, yes you two may have been linked as part of a larger alliance, but Anders is such a meat shield so I don't think it's really a problem.
My gripe with Alejandro is that most of the time I listen to his confessionals I'm like "Oh no! Don't do that! Eeek, bad choice!". In particular, I think he's making probably my least favourite mistake in any game — enabling players better than himself. I know it's early to be saying that, but if you listen to his latest confessional he lists off Chris, Bryce, Jessaca & Sarena as the people he wants to work with; and Danny, Abby & Lexi as the ones he wants out next.
It's almost as if he divided up the game into "people that will kill me in a jury vote" and "jury goats" and decided he wants all the goats out of the game. Of course I could be underestimating Alejandro's shot in a Final Tribal Council, but I think wanting to align with literally all the strongest players in the game is a no-no. He doesn't seem to really have any interest in working with anybody but those who he likes the most and those who he talks to the most without a real consideration for their threat level. I just see him peaking at a potentially being a runner-up at best.

Also, I've kind of sat down and thought about the vote a little bit and what would have happened without everyone bar Anders & Sarena being immune, and I think I've come to the conclusion that Anders wasn't actually screwed here — which was the main thing I was really upset about before.
Yes, Anders had the numbers. It would've been a 6-5 vote between most likely Anders & Matthew... with Matthew getting the 6 majority votes. The thing though is that Jessaca was hellbent on saving Matthew and hellbent on eliminating Anders this round (even before the challenge took place). I actually think we pretty much would've gotten the exact same vote, just instead it'd be whether or not Jessaca plays a Hidden Immunity Idol on Matthew — which I think she would have.
We basically got the same Tribal Council we would have, just with way more theatrics, and this way we ended up keeping Jessaca's Hidden Immunity Idol in the game and people like Bryce are able to play both sides a little longer. At least imo.

Hey friends. I have thoughts.
So, I don’t think Anders crosses a line with Jess. Jess made a big move that negatively affected his game and he was angry with her, but he didn’t say Anything unfairly to her. We’ve seen Ricky at Pressure Cooker, Kim call Molly Jodi Arias, Kakuno trash Kim’s age, Lexi (S3) flip out on Tommy Ip, Robbie vs Daniel, etc so this does feel like a drop in the bucket compared to some of that, but it was very uncomfortable to watch and Jess held her own with her move.
The thing I didn’t like was Anders respecting the game so much, but coming off as very petty and feeling like nobody had the right to target him. Just yesterday he had a confessional screeching about getting out Jess, Lexi and Danny so we know he wasn’t voting with Jess long term. He openly admitted in that confessional that he had his majority and Jess wasn’t in it but when Jess works to give herself numbers and save her ally, she’s a ‘awful player,’ it just sounds like really sour grapes from Anders. I do think he will see the light by end of the season and would probably vote for Jessaca to win the game if she were at the finals, but it was just that raw emotion that wasn’t his best moment. There were def things he could have done to save himself and it’s not anyone else’s ‘fault’
I do like him though, I like Jess too. They’ll get over it, it’s fine.

I also love the irony of Alejandro complaining that Chris is telling information that he gives him in private because Chris eluded to pointing out the cipher to Matt.

Honestly disagree.
I think Alejandro was, with anders, bottled into a corner with the chris/abby/anders etc side. He had meaningful connections on the other side in Jess/sarena etc side that he was basically stuck voting out in a line with. That beasts alliance was NOT flexible at all. They had a gameplan in what they were doing, and Alejandro was boxed into doing that.
Anders leaving, who he wasn't super close to, completely frees up Bryce/Chris and has caused them to be more open with working with Jess/Sarena/Matt. That puts Alejandro as one of the very few people firmly in the middle with no one coming after him (other than Danny, obviously). I think Alejdandro was on the bottom of the beasts alliance and wasn't aware of it, too.
I think Alejandro went from good spot - > fucking incredible spot in like 5 seconds...whether he does anything productive with that spot? I have no idea. But hes there!

Someone has leaked to Danny about the five person alliance of Bryce, Abby, Anders, Alex and Chris and Danny has now leaked it to Jess and Lexi. Pretty sure it was Abby that told Danny, so I'm curious how much this ultimately will hurt Bryce, Alex and Chris' games.

Hey I know I've vanished for like 4 rounds from prediction writer stuff (life's crazy) but I wanted to say that I'm a little... disappointed with how the votes have been falling with this twist, with pretty much all of them being unanimous and every single one being divided between only 2 people. I think this merge vote was the perfect opportunity for someone to throw a vote on Jess or Alex and leave some confusion as to who actually gets the dying wish this upcoming round. I understand that would involve some lying, but I think strategically that would be a move that would impress me to see someone pull off, and exactly in the spirit of the dying wish twist.

Chris in his production chat:
Chris, 5:45 PM
This game is such a fucking mess
I’m not even pushing an agenda I just feel like I’m trying to dodge bullet after bullet and manage crisis after crisis
So that I don’t squander any of my relationships
My vision for this round that I’ve had since last night is to push a large vote onto Danny and get Sarena and Matt on board with it by exposing that he has the idol
Hence me sharing the clue
And then hitting them from the left and me/Alex/Abby/Bryce/Naomi vote Lexi
Danny wastes idol
But I don’t think I could execute that now because things have gone to shit
But we can’t vote Danny or else Alex goes
The question is if I can lose Alex and still have a good spot in this game

Also, I agree with Tyler. I think last night was the PERFECT opportunity for Naomi to vote someone like Alejandro because then no one would know for sure if she had the dying wish other than Alejandro. I think if the person who's going to get dying wish knows they're going to, they should consider throwing their vote to throw people off.
