This has been one of the more boring pressure cookers. At least in S3, TSL and Dustin talked about yoga and school to fill the silence.
Now that it's off air, Joey and Jenn are talking a lot of strategy. They both wanted to be the final 2 in the challenge. Jenn will probably drop in a few minutes and Joey will officially be in final 7.
At this point I could see it being Harrison, Jay or Andrew leaving. Depending on how much people scheme.

I think it's going to come down to Andrew and Jay. Though I think if people were smart they'd try targeting Kurtis.

I’m kinda disappointed in how short the pressure cooker went. I went 12 hours in one, not because I needed it but because i thought it was a challenge I could legit win

I'm surprised by how short the pressure cooker was too...I think I lasted about as long as this entire season's pressure cooker took and there were a good 5 or 6 people left in the challenge then.
It's probably complete season 5 bias, but I felt like there was a certain tenacity to win the pressure cooker from people who were both in a good and bad position at that point in the game.
I don't want to take anything away from Jenn/Joey though, because I'm sure they would have gone much longer if they had to but it just wasn't necessary.

THOTS DURING EPISODE 12
First off, R.I.P. Dustin. I was impressed with how well he handled his boot (compared to that video where he cried for like a century). He worked hard to get himself to this position despite the odds working against him so often in this game, I think he should be proud of what he was able to accomplish.
Onto the game, I've got some thots after that quick and kinda boring pressure cooker...
ALEX
|
King of the INV edit!! Nah for real though, even though he has legitimate reasons for not being around lately, I think it's led to the complete removal of any momentum that he had in his favour to win the game. Missing two challenges and a tribal doesn't look good on a resume for a winner. It's unfortunate but it happens. At this point I think everyone could beat him in the end unless we see a really bitter jury. |
GIBSON
|
I think Gibson definitely needed to work hard in the pressure cooker to ensure his safety for the round. His name has been floating around for a couple of rounds now, which means it'll only be a matter of time before he goes, maybe even this round! I was kinda surprised he dropped from the pressure cooker so early on. |
HARRISON
|
I'm glad Harrison is still in! I know Jay was going to try and sway the vote towards him instead of Dustin, but the second he posed the idea of maybe not voting Dustin to the Vecher folks it was shut down immediately and he didn't push further. It's unfortunate but I think Harrison is likely going to be taken out in the next couple of rounds. It seems like Jay and Gibby are the big targets for now, but after them it'd probably be Harrison going. I hope he notices this and starts working hard to make it deeper into the game. |
JAY
|
I can see the logic behind Jay's desire to switch the vote to Harrison. Jay knows he's got a big target on his back while there are many players able to skate by, such as Harrison and Mike. For his game, it makes sense to keep in a target like Dustin to ensure there's a bigger target than himself in the game. Unfortunately for him I think he realized this too late for any change to happen. I could see him leaving this round now that there's no real bigger target anymore. |
JENN
|
If I was in the final two of the pressure cooker I absolutely would never have dropped to let anyone else win, even if it was my closest ally. Jenn stood there for 6 hours of her time to just let Joey have it?? I guess to be fair that's probably smart to reduce the target on herself while putting it more on Joey, but there's already Vecher speculation that she just gave it to him. I am very impressed with Jenn's overall gameplay though. I think it'll either be her or Kurtis who will walk away with the win this season. |
JOEY
|
Joey cinches the pressure cooker win! I would've done exactly what he did in refusing to give up the pressure cooker after making it to the top 2. I do think Joey is building up a sizeable target with his win though. He has immunity this round, he had blinding light last. I think another win will make it so that once he loses a challenge, the others will have no choice but to take him out. |
KURTIS
|
Kurtis is a top contender to take home the win in my opinion. He's a strong player, he hasn't rubbed anyone the wrong way really, and people respect the way he's been playing. He's been strategic about who he needs to take out and when, at it seems to go the way he wants. On top of all this, nobody has been wise enough to try and take him out before it's too late. It's gonna take a huge upset to get him out I think. |
MIKE
|
Apathy didn't do Mike any favours, but I think this challenge raised his stock just slightly with his determination to succeed in the pressure cooker. He at least will probably fare better in the odds than Alex at this point considering Alex hasn't been around or competing. Mike's got a good chance to go deep in this game as people have bigger fish to fry. |

Not sure exactly what happened but Jay found out Kurtis wants him out so now it seems the two of them are going after each other.

Yeah it's too soon to tell what went down but two new group chats were made today - one with Mike, Jay and Alex - so Vecher minus Kurtis - where Jay specifically called Kurtis shady and one with Jenn, Mike and Jay. Not sure what will happen with the vote

Now Jay has a call with Joey and Jenn happening. I can't join at the moment, but from what I know, he's definitely going to try to push a Kurtis vote

Finally Jay versus Kurtis, it's been a long time coming. Ultimately, I think Jay going home is best for everyone's games, but I personally don't want to lose him lol

I joined the call with jay Jenn and Joey and they were talking about Kurtis being shady then jay left to go to the call with Alex and mike and Jenn/joey talking about potentially turning it back on jay because they don’t think anyone could beat him at the end and that so far it’s been taking out people who are against jay, so soon they wouldn’t have anyone willing to go against him
Now there is a group call of alex jay mike Jenn and Joey, the last two were very reluctant to agree to this chat as they’re unsure who they’d rather get out. I definitely think they’re missing an opportunity if they don’t go for Jay this round and I think it’s the best move, despite Jay being one of the best characters left

I think Vecher breaking up when they did was a big miscalculation by both Kurtis and Jay. I know that Jay thinks he has this trust with Jenn but clearly she doesn't have that same trust with him. Letting Dustin go last round was (in my obviously biased opinion) a mistake in my eyes.
It's strange, but I almost see a Final 4 of Alex/Mike/Andrew/Harrison? I just don't for the life of me see Andrew sticking with Joey/Jenn once Kurtis/Jay go. If the next two boots are Kurtis & Jay, that 4some could/should come together to take out the two stronger threats.

I ultimately see Jay leaving over Kurtis this round. I think Jay has rubbed a lot of Utren the wrong way, and Jay is perceived as having a lot of power in this game (whoever he yells at goes home). Damage control right now is probably going to be too little too late.

I think Joey would much rather boot Jay than Kurtis but I'm not sure where Jenn would stand on it. She's obviously got a better relationship with Jay than Kurtis.
Would Mike actually vote Kurtis out? I find that hard to believe.

It’s hard to tell right now, kurtis was at pride all day yesterday so I’m not sure if he knows about any of this yet
