Jayden he such a great premerge, and then came into merge wanting to take control and blew up his own game in the process... right move, wrong time and unfortunately he paid for it. He was a great character, had a great story and then just blew it up which sucks because he was a favorite to win for so long. But I hope this isn’t the last we see of Jayden

This kind of reminds me of last season and how the merge started there. The first merge voted a big player got blindsided and then directly following that, someone from the group that blindsided that player got blindsided themselves.

Kurtis keeps talking about how this isn't Vecher strong until the end so I'm curious to see what his next move would be

honestly my true aesthetic is this is like the third round of Vecher trying to give alex immunity during this game and it's always foiled

If I were Joey, I'd totally be using blinding light to my advantage to try to make some deals with the other side. Jay and Dustin both thought they could leave last round so I'm sure they'd be very happy to receive immunity from Joey.

Sounds like Dustin is going. The game is finally about to get blown up.

THOTS DURING EPISODE 11

Hi I've missed most of this round because I've been busy attending the grad ceremonies of my friends so even though I am late to the party as usual, here are my thots!

R.I.P. Jayden :( I think Jayden's main mistake at the merge was just that he started flipping way too early on. I think paranoia got to him at the merge with seeing so many people with connections he didn't have at his disposal. Regardless he was a multi-faceted player and it was great to see him play, hopefully this won't be his last ORG experience, I think he could take what he's learned from this and apply it to a new game with greater success.

Sadly I've missed most of this round's events because of my schedule being crazy, so this time I'm going to give everyone a team of six Pokémon I could see them using in a Pokémon game bc why not?

I have barely been present for this round, but if Dustin is leaving it could make for an interesting pressure cooker after tribal. I hope someone is heated and fights happen. Jay says he plans on standing as long as possible, I can imagine Jenn will give it everything too

Obviously devastated for Dustin that he is leaving, but he has been on borrowed time for many rounds now. I don't necessarily think he made any mistakes regarding his vote out this round, but him leaving doesn't really ruffle any feathers.

I think that it is a mistake for Jay to pull the trigger this early on Dustin, but I know he trusts Jenn. I really hate how he said that he would be almost ok with losing to her at the end, because I just don't even see why he would want that scenario in the first place...

Realistically if Dustin goes, Kurtis would probably want to flip to work with Harrison/Joey from what they have said? Potentially to take out Jay? I am not sure how that would work out since Jenn doesn't want Jay to go. Maybe Kurtis still has that really close connection with Mike and he goes from there? I just don't know really.

I am also having a hard time watching/reading Jenn's confessionals as of late. I understand her way of thinking but it really does come across as "whiny". It's just not as rootable, even though I really really want to root for her.

Right now I think my biggest people to win this game are Kurtis, Jenn and Jay. I would like to think that Kurtis has the best shot, but he has to work with people who may not want to take him to the end. Perhaps an immunity streak could help him get there (at the end). If Jenn takes control with Joey/Harrison she could pull it out as well, as I think the jury *may* vote for her over the other two, especially if Jay is on the jury. Finally, Jay being a darkhorse favorite to win if he just completely beasts it out and mists people into believing he'll protect them more and more. This could happen if Jenn refuses to take out Jay within the next 2-3 rounds.

HI. I tried to catch up on confessionals really fast by skimming through and whatnot. And I'm not totally sure on what the dynamics look like right now, but i'll try to give some thoughts as I understand the game rn.

First of all, very sad to see Dustin go tonight. I appreciate the way he played this game. Looking out for himself, first and foremost, and really playing to win. I think the decision he made to make himself immune the round Adrianne went out has really lingered, which is unfortunate because I still totally get the move to look out for yourself and avoid a 3 vs. 3 tribal council. And I don't even know if I fully understand the logic from Vecher people to get rid of Dustin this round, versus waiting another round or two at least. Dustin is loyal to them. He's a big target with a lot of game still left to go. Instead you give the Utren people a lot more life in this game...

To turn to the people who will likely be around at the F9:

Alex--
I feel like it's not crazy to say Alex is a good player...but I still consistently hear that he's MIA from the others. I thought he would turn his game up a notch and really be present in this merge, but it just doesn't seem to be the case.
For all the craziness that comes with this season, I'd be a little disappointed for Alex to be the winner. But I think he's running out of people he could actually beat in the end sooooo. There's that.

Gibby--
It's hard to tell what Gibby is doing rn. He says he is out for himself and just trying to figure things out round-to-round, which is awesome...I'm here for Gibby to keep flipping between alliances to the end, if possible. But strategically it sounds like he might just be a step or two behind the rest of the bunch. I will say, I appreciate Gibby wanting to take out some of the floatery type players left in the game. He's certainly not out of this yet. He just needs to find one or two people he can really trust moving forward. Is it Kurtis? Is it Jenn? Is it Mike?? I dunno.

Harrison--
I didn't watch his 22 minute confessional from this round, so I don't really have strong commentary on Harrison. I think he needs to probably--somehow--link up with Alex and Mike to get to the end. At least Harrison has been consistently more active than Alex...and also Mike??

Jay--
Jay's game is still so fun to watch. His confessional is the first one I go to now to get the scoop on what's going on.
On one hand, he is the biggest threat out there, everyone wants him out, and he absolutely knows it. On the other hand, Jay has been in a similar position for the entire merge. He just keeps figuring out how to get out of danger and how tto get the target on someone else. I don't think anyone has been as impressive to watch strategically.
Is Jay a long-shot to make the end at this point?? Yes--but at the same time if there's a really good player who can make a few key moves and win a few key challenges left, it's Jay.

Jenn--
Going through the confessional content, I couldn't understand why Jenn would get rid of Dustin this round, someone she could absolutely work with moving forward...but then it sorta feels like Jenn will have options in the coming round. She has a working relationship with Jay and Joey, and also the rest of Utren appears to be on her side for now. If she's going to win, she absolutely needs to find a way to take out people like Alex and Mike and Harrison, otherwise her number will come up at tribal before ftc.
I kinda hope Jenn sticks with Jay for a few more rounds, at least, because I think it benefits both of their games and potentially would set up for a Jay or Jenn win--but too many other people might be on board to take out Jay.

Joey--
Joey's done a good job of getting a foot hold back in the game following the Kilby blindside, but I just want Joey to be more pro-active in his decision making. I feel like Joey's played a solid game, but I don't feel like there's a round or a move in this game that his truly his? What's his defining moment in E6???
I know Joey hasn't exactly been in a POSITION to make the big moves, and is benefiting tremendously from going with the flow and letting some big players take each other out...but idk, i'm just ready for Joey to kick ass b/c I can tell he's a really good player and really gets this game.

Kurtis--
I've definitely had Kurtis pegged a potential winner for a while now. And I think Kurtis is still in a pretty good position to win the game. Again, I'm surprised he's willing to get rid of Dustin who he could work with further...but I think Kurtis' m.o. so far as been to push when he needs to push, and chill when he needs to chill. I guess Kurtis is just good a managing perception, while also being in the loop of things here.
I wish I had a bit more sense of like what Kurtis' gameplan is moving forward, and who he wants to sit in the end with.

Mike--
I guess I'm still waiting to see if Mike can turn the switch on and start slitting throats...or something like that. For Mike's sake, I hope his plan is to sit at the end with someone like Alex...b/c I do think Mike could win against him. But yea, i dunno.

all for now
