Okay, I recently found out that people actually watch and read confessionals on here. Like real people. So I will update y'all on stuff more!!! I am not Chelsea from Ghost Island, even though she is an icon!!! Stay tuned.
Okay, here we go! I'm gonna start with a written confessional to get my thoughts sorted out.
Reed quit the game and that was a semi-shocker. He didn't really seem into it as much as everyone else. From what I’ve seen from him, he was a little bit erratic. From his cast photo to his short video call to the tribe, I have never seen him with a shirt on!! Reed’s belly button is fully ingrained into my head.
I think before Reed left, everyone was sorta walking on eggshells. No one was willing to throw out a name or start to form alliances with three or more people. No one wants to be THAT person, especially since Reed would have been the easy vote. So, I felt like the game was starting very slowly. But when Reed left, everyone seemed to get antsy and want to find something solid.
To talk a bit about the challenge, I just went out and bought a dumbbell and took one for the tribe. No one wanted to do that one, but it’s literally only a five-pound weight. Get over it!! For my part of the challenge, I had to keep one hand in the air with the dumbbell and the other on the floor. It wasn’t that difficult. Other people really had it harder. We ended up losing and the other tribe killed it. Whatever!!
Sarena got immunity and gave it to Andrew. I’m fine with that. I wanted Sarena to get the blinding light for two reasons. One: it seemed like people were already putting her on the top anyway. Two: I wanted to test her and see what she would do with it. It showed a lot that she gave it to Andrew, especially since she gave like no explanation. The smartest thing was to give an explanation or randomize it in the tribe chat, but nope!! No explanation! Also, I’m putting people I trust toward the bottom to try to get some sort of advantage, if there is one.
I’ll just go through the tribe one by one now:
Tony: I literally haven’t said a word to him lol. Like we don’t even have a chat together. And I don’t care. He doesn’t seem into it and I want to have a few people who I’m not talking to.
Sarena: Sarena talks to me, but doesn’t really talk game to me. She wants to keep me in her pocket, but her jeans don’t have pockets and I was dropped on the floor and I’m free.
Andrew: Haven’t spoken to him since the first day. He always talks about his house and Pop Funko doll collection. I don’t really care. He seems connected to Sarena, so with Sarena talking to me, I don’t think he needs to talk to me.
Joey: I have talked to Joey only for a bit, but he seems on the outs. I’d like to pull him in, since he did well at the challenge and he would be a good number.
Jenn: Jenn seems to be very quiet in this game, so she’s sorta like me. I was sketched out by her in the first day, but I really like her now! We seem like we’re on the same page based on the little game that we’ve talked.
Jacob: In this game, either Jacob or Dan are lying to me. I’m prone to believe Dan, since I feel like Jacob isn’t telling me the whole truth. And neither is Dan, but he’s defo talking to me more. Jacob is such robot snake!! Like when he’s talking to me, I feel like he’s logging in everything I say and the program inside him is spitting out a standardized response to me. He thinks he has me in his pocket, but NOPE!! I thought we woulda been tight in the beginning, but I guess that Survivor Boston connection isn’t tight!! Fuck Survivor Boston Emerson, Survivor Boston Northeastern is where it’s at!!!!!
Dan: See Jacob. Dan is obviously talking to everyone and may be lying to me. But he has given me valuable info and I hope that translates to trust.
Jayden: I feel like I can trust Jayden the most. Everything he has told me has checked out. We have the same head and we think very similarly. I think the work I put in this relationship is paying off. Since he’s in Australia, it must be tough for him to talk to people. But I’m up early and sleep late, so I can talk to him a lot.
After some talking with Jayden, we agree that Dan, Jenn, and Joey are the ones that we want to work with and we thought that they felt the same way. So Jayden went ahead and made the group chat and we call it the Wildlife Conservation Coalition. I feel so relieved to have a solid group and I’m liking everyone in it. We had a three-hour group call, so I’m hoping that was genuine and they weren’t faking it to me for three hours. They would be losers if they were.
It seems to be that Tony is the target this round. He’s not into it as much as everyone else and the other side (Sarena, Jacob, and Andrew) seem to be down as well. With a unified vote this round, that won’t create any lines in the sand and we can keep the Wildlife Conservation Coalition secret for longer.
I hope no one is lying to me! I pick up on little things that I feel like I’m reading too much into and that it might be me??? I don’t have an idol or anything, so I hope the Wildlife Conservation Coalition and everyone else keeps me!
Also, let’s note that it hasn’t even been a week and I am exhausted!!!!! This is my first ORG as you may know and it’s been wild so far!
