Also! Last thing about my trip I forgot to mention, and I thought I'd put it in here because I know some people here are as big Survivor fans as I am. If you ain't just stop reading!
Anyway, while I was in the game we were actually VISITED BY ACTUAL SURVIVORS AT OUR CAMP! like the third day of the game we were sitting around and KATHY SLECKMAN FROM MICRONESIA walked into our camp! and at the merge feast JOEL KLUG FROM BORNEO showed up!! It was one of the coolest things ever for me because I've never met a real life Survivor contestant before and BOTH of them are two of my favorite Survivors ever! Kathy is a personal hero of mine and Joel... lol I've actually played an org as Joel!! I was too nervous to tell him that though. Kathy was SO FUNNY and she told us a bunch of really cool stories about loser lodge and her times on exile island and Joel is.... omg still so hot even though he's probably like 40. It was like a surreal experience for me especially as a super fan. Anyway they signed a hat they gave us so I just wanted to put the pic here! I'm putting the hat up on my mantle LOLOL!
WE WONNNNNNN. I'm so happy we won and I don't have to worry about TC. What is this? I haven't been to tribal for like the past five rounds of this game! IT'S LIKE HELL HAS FROZEN OVER! But I'm okay with that. I'm just gonna work on building relationships with people and getting to know my Haida tribe! And having a drink or two because that's how I roll.
Also, tipsy Brian observation: Doesn't Vic have the most gorgeous Eye icon ever on the board? Although it also looks like he has someone do work on his brows because his brow game is ON POINT.
Well, it's Monday y'all and I've survived another round in this game and live to fight another day! We don't have to go to tribal council which is really nice! I'm not sure what would happen if we had gone which is probably a bad thing and tells me I need to like create some more bonds with everyone.
Right now I am sticking with Jesse and hopefully we can make something happen! I'm not entirely sure who to approach because I strongly suspect Chris/Tyler/Sean are all together and Miller is probs with them. So we may be on the outside but we are both plucky lil' underdogs and we can fight our way out of this! It helps that we are all so strong in challenges which is really cool. Hopefully that keeps Jesse and I safe!
Also, last night, Miller and I had the awkward Palmyra talk that I had been dreading! It helped that I was a little tipsy so I only 80 percent felt like jumping out of a window instead of 100 percent. He apologized for turning on me and Tori and I apologized for basically calling him an awful person at the FTC. I don't know if it was authentic or not from him but from me it totally was. It actually felt really good to talk about it because it's been honestly something that I've hated about myself for letting my emotions get to me ever since Palmyra ended. I hope he was being straight with me too... there were a few times in Palmyra where Miller like apologized for something he did to me and literally the next day I would catch him talking about me again. I hope he was being genuine!
Ugh, another thing I'm worried about is the other tribal councils. Jesse told me that on Tagish Jared had said that Zoie would be next to go. I will be devastated if that happens because I love her so much and think she is such a cool person.
I'm also really worried about Jenna on Sekani. Jenna's on vacation atm so I could see the tide easily turning against her to get her out. If Jenna was out of this game... ugh I feel like I would fall apart. Like I've said time and time again Jenna was the sole reason I decided to play Endure again. And she's made this game so fun and lighthearted for me and I can't imagine playing without her. Ugh I really hope she can survive. She's a good player so I have faith but I'm still really nervous for her.
