11. Anthony
Edgic Rating: CP
Man you straight white guys like to talk. Don't y'all have some Vineyard Vines to wear or something?
Average Clip Rank: 22 (Jen: 22, RJ: 22)
Anthony's delivery here ... leaves a lot to be desired. His demeanor is a bit offputting and his gestures set me on edge. I wanna hold him still and make him stop moving his arms everywhere like Ricky Bobby doing a TV interview.
Average Quote Rank: 2 (Jen: 3, RJ: 1)
And then we get to this quote. Anthony lays out his main theme of the season as well as setting up the current odds-on recipient of the Fan Favorite award later tonight. His protectiveness toward his brother is admirable, and yet Anthony expresses this without any aggrandizement. It's thoroughly great, and it lends depth to an already fantastic part of Okanagan.
Overall Average Ranking: 12 (Jen: 12.5, RJ: 11.5)
His presentation is poor, but Anthony's message is on point here, and I really enjoy it.

I had a hard time with who to give that top spot to. Anthony's love for his brother made this a top contendor for me.

10. Kate
Edgic Rating: CPP
Shoutout to Stephen Lehman for making the call between CP and CPP here.
Average Clip Rank: 15 (Jen: 16, RJ: 14)
Kate is falling all over herself in disbelief, almost at a loss for words about ... something, maybe about the F10 TC, maybe about Corey staying loyal to her for the first time in the game. Who knows? It's endearing, but not particularly dynamic, and without any accompanying information, leaves the viewer with more questions than answers.
Average Quote Rank: 8.5 (Jen: 5, RJ: 12)
All three of the quotes pull from the same theme of protecting the alliance of three that made up the endgame. Personally, I put Kate's quote the lowest of the three because it struck me as the most utilitarian. She's talking about protecting the final three not from any sort of personal sense of matriarchy, but rather to further her goals in the game. This isn't a bad thing, but it's easier to connect with the other two.
Overall Average Ranking: 11.75 (Jen: 10.5, RJ: 13)
A generally solid performance allows Kate to break the top ten, but a lack of substance leaves her the lowest of the final three. She will message me later about this in mock outrage.

This quote just gave me the Mama bear and her two cubs feels. They never officially named their alliance but I'm glad for whoever came up with that in VL because it just fit those 3 too perfectly. Alternatively it could have been Mother Goose and her two ducklings.... ;) ;) ;) I like the first one better though!

9. Vic
Edgic Rating: OTT
Do you guys think Vic is a Blood or a Crip?
Average Clip Rank: 1.5 (Jen: 1, RJ: 2)
I mean ... this is damn near perfection. We get to see Mackle-less in full force here, exuding all the charisma he normally lacks. Samantha also makes a shocking starring role as the camerawoman as she frantically tries to keep up as Vic jukes back and forth. Vic's video was a high point of the season, and this clip does a great job revisting that.
Average Quote Rank: 19.5 (Jen: 18, RJ: 21)
And then we reach the written portion of the exam, and Vic falls to pieces. One of the best storylines of the season was the relationship between the Vicarios, and that storyline deserved a place in Vic's gif. As it is, we're left with another Rupert Tweet of a pullquote, which drags Vic away from the elite end of the board.
Overall Average Ranking: 10.5 (Jen: 9.5, RJ: 11.5)
Like Sean, another person whose gif featured their lip sync, Vic appears to have skipped leg day. What we're left with is an attention grabbing top half and a forgettable bottom half. Like a mermaid. Vic is a mermaid.

What would a mermaid do if their son was at home crying all alone on the ocean floor cause he's hungry?

8. Miller
Edgic Rating: OTT
It seems like a crime to give Miller the same edgic that Vic got. It's like they're not even playing the same sport. But alas, we do what we must.
Average Clip Rank: 9.5 (Jen: 6, RJ: 13)
I mean ... I get it. Miller's DOING STUFF and given the number of static clips that we have, the kinesthetic quality of it certainly grabs the eye. However, Miller goes through the motions with all the enthusiasm of a stripper at a truck stop bar, and I'm equally as enthralled.
Average Quote Rank: 10.5 (Jen: 10, RJ: 11)
Unlike Kate, Miller's quote injects a little emotion into the final three situation in which he eventually found himself. For whatever else we've said about him of late, Miller did have a strong emotional attachment to both of his fellow final three members and would have been devastated if Corey had managed to thwart them in the 11th hour. This quote reflects that nicely, but it still holds back a bit too much.
Overall Average Ranking: 10.5 (Jen: 9.5, RJ: 11.5)
With Miller done, Nick claims the spot as the highest ranked member of the final three slash the finale in general! Another accolade to add to his trophy case. Will he take the top spot?

I loved this gif and the quote was one of the few raw moments where Miller let the viewers in on how he was feeling.

7. Jesse
Edgic Rating: OTTP
If Jesse didn't have an OTT gif, we wouldn't have even bothered with this ranking tbh.
Average Clip Rank: 7.5 (Jen: 8, RJ: 7)
I get the feeling that Stephen only had to watch 7 seconds of video to find this clip. It is quintessential Jesse to the point where I feel that using words other than "Jesse" to describe this clip would be doing it a disservice. Jesse is a huge character, and that's one of the reasons he was great.
Average Quote Rank: 8.5 (Jen: 9, RJ: 8)
This is one of the other reasons. Beneath the OTT surface, Jesse was always a good narrator and game player. Here we get a variation of the tired "I have no regrets. I'm proud of the way I played" snoozefest of a quote, but Jesse decides to SHOW and not just TELL us this. He doesn't just say he has no regrets; he elaborates on why he doesn't regret his gameplay. This alone vaults him out of the doldrums of the high teens to the trade winds of the single digits. Solid effort.
Overall Average Ranking: 8 (Jen: 8.5, RJ: 7.5)
With this gif, Jesse submits a very solid entry and further confirms my suspicion that in a world very similar to ours, he would have been a good winner of Endure Okanagan.

Jesse's confessionals were probably in my top list of favorites. Everything presented here sums up what you would find in a typical Jesse confessional. Love that hair flip! He would have made a great winner!

6. Zoie
Edgic Rating: UTRP
Just like Zoie, this gif just kind of chills here, happy to be itself amidst a sea of gifs who care more about being gifs than she does.
Average Clip Rank: 10.5 (Jen: 11, RJ: 10)
The best clips of this ranking usually do one thing very well: They represent the most important qualities of their subjects. Zoie's is no exception. Zoie happily strums her ukelele, giving the audience little to no mind as she goes about being cooler than you. You're not gonna win this ranking by playing the ukelele, and Zoie was never gonna win the game given her sporadic effort at times, but that's fine by her I suspect. And we all can enjoy her just the same.
Average Quote Rank: 5 (Jen: 6, RJ: 4)
Unlike Zac, Zoie does touch on the relationship with her brother that defined both of their games. Like her clip, it's offers a unique perspective of somebody who isn't immersed in ORGs like the rest of us terrible people. Contrary to her clip, the bit about her brother calls back to one of the more emotionally fulfilling relationships of the season, and anything that reminds me of Zac and Zoie hanging out will probably do well.
Overall Average Ranking: 7.75 (Jen: 8.5, RJ: 7)
In a more pure world, Zoie's 6th place would reflect her finish in Endure, and not the 16th she received, but I expect she would be more entertained by a sixth place finish here than in the game itself.

I think we would have seen more from Zoie if Zac had stayed in the game longer. They were both here to share the experience together much like Brian/Jenna and Ant/Nick. Our siblings duos were so much fun to watch!

5. Razek
Edgic Rating: OTTN
This would be OTTN if it were just the bottom half. The top half just makes it even more OTT.
Average Clip Rank: 9 (Jen: 9, RJ: 9)
The Weakest Link challenge was such a fun time. So many people got to shine during it, and Razek was indeed one of the stars. This clip hearkens back to Razek suffering and striving for his tribe, only for them to come up short. It was a very positive, very tribe-oriented part of his stay in Okanagan.
Average Quote Rank: 6 (Jen: 2, RJ: 10)
And also there was this. Obviously "Bitch be gone!" was an entertaining moment in the game, but I hesitate to give it elite marks as a person's sole verbal entry into Okanagan lore. While Razek brought a lot of negativity to the game, I find it hard to throw my full weight behind a quote that exists only to disparage its object, as this does with Casey. I don't know. Maybe I'm going soft.
Overall Average Ranking: 7.5 (Jen: 5.5, RJ: 9.5)
As befitting the larger than life character he was in the game, Razek turns in a very good score here. He was the focus of pre-swap Haida, and his highs and lows in his short time are immortalized appropriately here.

Razek was entertaining from the moment he entered until the moment he left! Both the gif and the quote had me lol'ing.
