Sean is basically the nega-Scott. This quote is a turkey sandwich with American cheese on white bread. The boat part is ironic because Sean's cruise robbed us of a lot of his insight to the events of the rounds prior to his departure, but that sort of meta-humor isn't enough to bring him above this placement.
Overall Average Ranking: 14.75 (Jen: 15, RJ: 14.5)
A very promising top half plus a very underwhelming bottom half leave Sean towards the middle of these rankings. If his gif hadn't missed leg day and delivered just as much below the waist as above, he'd rocket up the list easily. | | |

I try not to bring personal qualities into this, but you just know that Scully's messing himself at somebody else's expense in this gif like he's John Carroll. Come on. You know.

Your enjoyment of this clip is entirely dependent on how much you wanna see Scully's Oh Face. Apparently I'm more interested in that than Jen, and I did not know that about myself.

Okay so let me explain. I really appreciate a good villain, and this quote encapsulated the things that made Scully a good villain. It's tone deaf, it's unnecessarily insulting, it's needlessly dramatic, but most of all: It's from right after he lost. Scully WORKS for me as a villain because he got exactly what he deserved like so many other Endure villains, so I buy into it every time.

By popular demand, and here I'm using the word "popular" to mean "Jamie" which is the first and last time those two words are ever synonymous, here is the second installment of Kitty's RJ's (and Jen's) Totally Objective Gif Ranking Thread!
In this thread, Jen and I will rank, from worst to best, the Rites of Passage .gifs that Stephen has so graciously provided for us. A disclaimer ahead of time, these rating are not a reflection on the work Stephen has done in creating these images. If it were, they would all be in a 24-way tie for last place because we as a community must constantly remind Stephen of his place. This is also not a judgment of the people or even the characters in the game, because if that were the case it would be a 24-way tie for first. No, we here are judging these gifs artistically, dramatically, holistically, and a whole host of other adverbs that make us sound like washed up Art History majors.
In preparation for this thread, Jen and I have individually ranked each one of these gifs from 1 to 24 in two categories, Clip and Quote, to represent the duality of man and also the two obvious halfs of each gif. These two ratings are then averaged to produce an Overall Ranking which is an objective and completely correct designation of how good their gif is. You can argue with this if you enjoy being on the wrong side of history.
With that in mind, let's get this started before FTC starts so without further ado ... |

Jared's edgic rating comes entirely from his quote which I will get to in a second, but he's so Coby Archa it hurts.
Average Clip Rank: 20 (Jen: 20, RJ: 20)
Jared speaks to the camera, and while Jared is an engaging speaker, his shot is not as interesting as, say, Lisa's, despite the artwork hanging in the background and the chic cactus shirt he's rocking.
Average Quote Rank: 6 (Jen: 7, RJ: 5)
This really touches me, and I can tell from Jen's score that it touches her as well. In a way, I find this quote very similar to Corey's, except Jared delivers in all the ways I wanted Corey to, and then some. Jared acknowledges his mistakes from his past and turns it into a reflection on his present, bringing him from villain to hero in a blink of an eye. I don't have anything snarky or humorous to say about this because it really hits home for me.
Overall Average Ranking: 13 (Jen: 13.5, RJ: 12.5)
It feels really nice to be back in agreement and harmony with Jen. I'm sorry we had to fight like that in front of you guys. <3 | | |

Also with the way we did the rankings, the more people are involved, the more the scores get bunched up, which is a bit of a bore.
Also it's only been in the works for like 12 hours and I wanted to make sure it was done for the cast by the time FTC ended.

Who is Casey? All I see is Stacey Powell right now.
Average Clip Rank: 11 (Jen: 14, RJ: 8)
Casey is positively vicious in this clip, a theme so divorced from her in-game dynamics that it buys her twice as many Christmas presents to try and win her love. Nobody's clip is anywhere near as different from their in-game persona, and that departure is why I think Jen has this score lower than me.
Average Quote Rank: 14 (Jen: 13, RJ: 15)
Again, who are you and what have you done with Casey? Judging from this gif, you'd think Casey was doing her best Regina George impression up and down Okanagan instead of struggling to tread water a lot of the time. This quote doesn't really "hit" as hard as the clip did, so she lost a lot of points for me.
Overall Average Ranking: 12.5 (Jen: 13.5, RJ: 11.5)
Casey's gif promises big things that we unfortunately never got a chance to see in the game proper, but her gif is good enough to break into the top half here.
