OK, so uh, let me try and explain last round.
We go in, I feel screwed, everybody is against Oronar. Kathy is the target as far as I know. I'm gonna just sit there and let it happen, because I don't want to put myself at risk in the game, but I was constantly thinking of a possible way to get us out of the situation. The smallest comment and I'm thinking "Could I use that to save us?" or "Does that mean they may keep us?", but I'm not seeing much. I'm pissed as hell. The people that are about to take over our tribe aren't that smart. They're making things obvious, and not about the vote, just the way things will go down if an Oronar leaves, and then for some reason they all want to be secretive af about who they're getting out. That just pisses me off. So, I'm talking to Matty, and I just decide on the spot, f it, I've got to try and save my alliance. We were going down anyways, so why save face for a round or two max and just get voted out 11th or something. So I told Matty I'm voting Chase and I wanted him to do the same. Little did I know, Kathy was doing the exact same thing. That's what got the ball rolling. Then Kathy left, and everything went insane.
And who was at the center of it all......surprise, surprise, Chase Rice. I'll sum it up as quickly as possible: Chase lost it. He lost any cool, any composure, any stability he had, and just went crazy. He threw basically his entire alliance under the bus, specifically Fabio, saying that he was full of shit to my face as I'm just about to talk to the guy, and for probably no reason. From what I can get, that's what closed the deal (me getting to tell the other guys that Chase threw them under the bus), it wasn't for sure yet until then. Fabio and Matty were super unsure, and Kathy was nowhere to be found. So I tried to keep everything together, the vote, Chase in case he had the idol, everything, and it seems like I was successful. I don't want to call that my move or anything, one, because it's not even the merge yet, and two, getting Chase out was pretty easy, he kind of buried his own grave. I just needed to push him into it. Now, Oronar is seemingly safe to the merge. Matt is pretty alone now, I'm cool with the other guys, and the best they can do is tie us. I'm not saying we would even go to rocks or anything, but Oronar is 100% loyal to each other, and man I hate saying this, but I might do it if we have to lol. I don't trust these other people nearly as much as I do the Oronars and that may be how the game has to shake out, along tribal lines, but we'll see. It's still a long way to go, and so much can happen.
Speaking of that, I'm pretty sure a pre-jury person is coming back into the game. Or maybe they just care about the game that much to where they're sticking around, but I'm pretty sure they've just been roaming around outside of the game, like nomads, and somebody's just gonna stroll back in at the merge. If that's the case, please let it be Christine. I know she went crazy at her boot, but she's still the only person I had any connection with, other than Chase, who I just took out of the game. It seems like the merge may be further away than I thought as well. The game is moving SO fast at this point, if it happened after this round, we'd merge on Day 12 or 13. It may not be until we hit 10, which scares me, we have a good spot in the current stage of the game now, but a shakeup could probably help us to create other threats. I'm really kind of hoping this is the last night I spend as a member of this tribe, without being voted out. | |

Everybody's whining about this challenge was kind of annoying me, but once I did it, it made some sense. We should still stop crying, but whoo, that was tedious. Hopefully it was enough, but knowing these girls, we got obliterated again. | |

So, Kathy is going home tonight, I'm locked in on that. No crazy last minute flip this time, I promise (or I guess sorry?). Kathy seems to have gone fully inactive, which sucks. I don't even think she's been on since she tried to get Matty and Fabio to flip, not that I'm mad that last round happened. I really wanted Chase out of the game, and it gave me every reason to get him out, without really alienating anybody (I think), especially now that Kathy will go. I'm pretty sure Matt was rubbed the wrong way, but it was not at all personal with him, he just isn't around hat much, and I wasn't able to give him the heads up. I don't know if he takes it fully though, which sucks, especially with a merge for sure looming over our heads. It seems like these people are gonna play things along tribe lines, both pre-swap and post swap (uggggh), and I don't know who's being targeted first. Everybody seems to dislike or fear Old Oronar for some reason, NuJaruud has a ton of challenge threats, and Old Chonos...Idk about old Chonos haha. I think those guys will probably end up safe the longest, or become swing votes, but I'd much rather have it be me or my allies. Whoever swings to decide certain votes will likely determine who stays safe and who goes in this endgame that's fast approaching. Day 13 and I'm thinking about the merge lol, this game is insane, but I'm loving it. | |
