I leave this photo so everybody remembers that I am apart of the jury, a lot has happened since I called everybody idiots and got my torch snuffed.
Hey guys! Congrats on making it all the way to the Final Three. I'm a firm believer that anybody sitting here deserves it and did something (usually more than just "something") to get here, so that congrats goes to all three of you. I had the most time out of anybody to sit and watch this post-merge go on, and I can say it was excellent viewing. With that though, I know the least about how the game really went down. That makes this questioning extremely important for me. I need to figure out who deserves the title of Sole Survivor, and this is gonna be a huge part of it. Good luck to each of you.
I'll start with Francesqua. You definitely had the most public game for the jury to see, which can be seen as good or bad in my opinion. You won a lot of challenges, there's no question about that. But, that can be seen as all a person does to end up staying in the game. My question for you is, how much do you think your personal strategizing effected each vote you were apart of? Including the pre-merge.
Chelsea, we were great friends during this game from Day One, before there were even tribes. You picked me as your first tribemate, and immediately followed that with Brett. What were the pros and cons to having close allies like that throughout the game? Do you think it could end up hurting the job of selling your solo game or is it something that can be shown to say why you were a great player?
Brett, like Chelsea, me and you were good friends for most of the game, and we became very close when the swap took place. How would you say you separated your game from mine and/or Chelsea's throughout the course of the game? What side deals and possible moves did you have incase things went crazy and you were left without original allies or you felt like swinging the game in a different direction?
To all three of you:
I left the game before it even really started. As I made CLEAR when I left, no real move had been made yet. Those are the things that make a great game of Survivor....I mean 39 Days, what makes for a great rewatch or recapping. If you were gonna write up a recap of this "season", how would you detail the events of the game from start to finish? Would you say this was a really good season or a lackluster one?
and
As the first season of what's probably gonna be a great series, we obviously deserve the most returnee slots for the inevitable 39 Days All-Stars: Hawaii (because why wouldn't it be Hawaii????)
If you were the hosts, who would you be asking back to compete again and why? Let's go with 4 locks and 2 alternates. Including yourself is perfectly fine if you feel you deserve it.
I'll quit hogging the good questions now. Sell and own your games as best as you can, and I'm glad I got to play with all of you guys. Good game and good luck!

Thanks for the question Tyler. I hope to provide insight into my strategic plays throughout the game.
Dave - This vote, while hard on a personal level, was strategically not difficult. Dave hadn't socialized as much as the rest of us.
Christine - This vote was a lot crazier than many people realized. The vote was originally intended to be on John and we supposedly had Chelsea, Christine on board along with Ciera, Misty and I. But Christine sold us out to John. John and Hali both came to Misty and I and told us everything Christine had said. Christine tried playing both sides but our bonds were stronger with Hali, John and Chelsea and so the vote got flipped on Christine literally during the last hour or half an hour or so. I do believe that the connections that I made with John and Hali were stronger than the ones Christine had made since John believed us over her even though she was ultimately trying to save John whereas we had all but voted John out.
Tyler - This was very much a group decision. You had just not connected well enough with many people. Even Chelsea never voiced to me that she would like to save you. I personally did not want to make a move so early. A strategic misstep on my part but I felt comfortable at the time.
Misty - Misty and I both made strategic mistakes in this round. We overplayed big time and put faith in the people who turned on us. I think the things that made Misty a target more than me was she was more of a social and, at the time, challenge threat. I also was much closer to Chelsea than Misty was and with Chelsea being a key vote, I was spared whereas Misty was taken out.
Matt B - This vote was purely self preservation for the three Chonos remnants. We tried to get Brett and Chelsea back on board with us but it was too soon. Personally I ensured I voiced my unwillingness to work with the Jaruuds repeatedly to both Brett and Chelsea and dialed back on most of my conversations with the Jaruuds. Matt B ended up rubbing Chelsea and Brett the wrong way and went home.
Fabio - Good luck in huge part with Ciera finding the idol. But strategically our best bet was to take out what I thought was the glue that kept the majority alliance together and intact. Ciera and I were very much on the same page about this and Fabio ended up being idoled out in quite a dramatic tribal council.
Matty - Once again, huge stroke of luck. Had it not been for the rule, this outcome would have been much different. But personally, I was not willing to budge and had my Matty vote locked in. He was the last variable that I could not account for moving forward since I had little to no interactions with him.
Hali - Once I lost immunity, I felt the target had to be Hali. I, along with Ciera, played both sides this vote. Trying to make Hali and John believe we were voting Chelsea but worried about Chelsea finding an idol at exile while assuring Chelsea and Brett that we would vote Hali. In the end both sides did believe us and the biggest threat in the game was taken out.
Ciera - Ciera and I once again tried to play both sides but this time it didn't work. Everyone was rightfully afraid of letting both Ciera and I make F4. A strategic failure again on my part but there was little to nothing I could do at this point.
John K - There really was no other possibility. It was either John or I. And the FIC would decide. Brett and Chelsea both individually had told me they would tie the vote for me had I lost but after everything that had happened I wanted to make sure my fate was in my own hands.
Season recap:
"Previously, on 39 days in Mongolia ...
18 castaways were marooned in the rich region of Mongolia to battle it out for 39 grueling days. They would be divided into 3 tribes of 6 and square off to decide tribal supremacy before being forced to merge together and go to war against former friend and foe alike to try and outwit, outplay and outlast one another in order for one individual to claim the title of Sole Survivor.
The game began dramatically with Kelley Wentworth being brutally blindsided by AIM after 2 attempts on Kelley's part to get on AIM's good side. She was replaced by Francesca who wasted no time in trying to assimilate to make up for a lost day's time. She surprisingly was one of the 3 winners of the first challenge along with Chelsea and Hali and all three got a chance to pick their tribes.
Chelsea picked Tyler, Brett, Christine, Matty and Kathy for Oronor.
Hali picked Fabio, jenn, John K, Laura and Woo for Jaruud.
Francesca picked Matt B, Misty, Chase, Ciera and Dave for Chonos.
The tribal warfare was in full force with Chonos losing the first challenge and having to say farewell to Dave. The next day saw Matty and Jenn being swapped for being ranked lowest on their respective tribes. But Matty was able to overcome this setback when he outlasted both Laura and Woo when his new tribe lost while Jenn never recovered and was unceremoniously taken out in her new tribe.
The swap shook up the game tremendously as former tribe rulers Chase and Christine were eliminated in surprising back to back rounds whereas Kathy was removed for being an absentee just before the merge.
The merge kicked off with a Jaruud 4 and a Chonos 4 seemingly poised for battle with an Oronor 3 stuck in the middle. But this war was postponed when neither side wanted to go after the other and the pleas of Tyler fell on deaf ears resulting in him being taken out unanimously.
The times of peace wouldn't last however as the next round signaled the start of a bloodbath with both sides vying for the loyalty of the Oronor duo of Brett/Chelsea still stuck in the middle. Ultimately Jaruud won out and Misty was the first casualty of this war.
The pleas of the Chonos remnants didn't make Brett and Chelsea budge and Matt B was taken out due to unintentionally rubbing them the wrong way.
Final 8 was the stage of another shift in power when promises were made and broken between the Oronor duo and the last 2 Chonos remnants - Ciera and Francesca. Luckily for the Chonos ladies, a luckily timed idol find allowed them to not only survive the round together but to take out the heart of the majority alliance - Fabio. A ray of hope emerged for the Chonos girls and the fight was not yet over.
An unexpected and unforeseen turn of events once again allowed the Chonos girls to find a spot in between the now-at-odds sides of the Jaruud 3 and the Oronor 2. Due to immense good fortune, the outcome was the most favorable one and Matty was eliminated in a turmoil filled tribal council.
Final 6 finally saw Francesca and Ciera both being vulnerable without any immunity or potential idols. But the looming threat of Hali curb stomping the opposition to a victory was too big to ignore for the Oronor duo who decided to side with Francesca and Ciera in order to eliminate the biggest hero of the game.
With Hali out of the game Francesca once again won herself immunity but this time the Chonos duo failed to make the same magic happen as before and Ciera was finally taken out of the game after a hard fought battle.
Final 4 boiled down to head on clash between John K, the last remaining Jaruud and Francesca the last remaining Chonos to claim a spot in the FTC. Both fought hard, persevered long and gave it everything they had. Francesca ultimately won out and sealed her place at FTC whereas John was unable to convince the Oronor duo to turn on each other resulting in his heart crushing elimination as the final juror."
I hope that wasn't TOO corny :P My thoughts on this season are that it was a spectacular one and will be fondly remembered by me and I am sure by many of y'all who have played in it for a long long time
All star picks:
1. Hali. Starting off with the fairly obvious one.
2. Franny. Regardless of the outcome, I believe my story is a powerful one. I am not the heroic underdog that everyone roots for but I was a force in this game that could neither be ignored nor was anyone able to stop me.
3. Fabio. Although not personally with me, Fabio played an excellent game and was really only taken out primarily because Ciera and I got lucky at just the right time. If Fabio survives just one more round, things could have ended up very differently.
4. John K. John K's game is hugely underrated imo. He was extremely social with people even outside his alliance, he was always shielded by threats who would definitely be taken out before him and he was just one round away from being a huge favorite to win the game.
Alternates:
1. Misty. Her elimination signaled the big shift in the direction of the game and set the tone for many future rounds. She was also a big presence pre-merge and who can forget that dodge ball challenge where Hali and Misty faced off like amazonian warriors.
2. Ciera. Her idol play was very memorable and her presence was always a fun and cheerful one. She may not have been a strategic force but she was an entertaining player through and through.
I would like to offer an explanation about why I didn't include Brett or Chelsea on this. Chelsea not being included is mainly because I felt she lacked the interest and investment that everyone on this list had for this game.
Brett I didn't include because All Star picks are individuals who had an impact on the game or were memorable while standing by themselves. Brett played an impressive second-in-command game. His #1 kept changing but the fact remains he always had a #1 to whom he was a #2. An impressive strategy if he can unseat that #1 himself at some point which he either never had to or never did end up doing.
Thanks again for the question Tyler. Let me know if you need more.

Hey Tyler! It has been way too long. I’ll start out by saying that when the tribes were first assigned, I was actually pretty skeptical of aligning myself with you and Chelsea. I had thought that Chelsea and I had gotten a really good bond going on Day 1 and when I found out that I wasn’t her first pick, I was actually really shocked because for as much as Chelsea and I talked, it had to have meant you and Chelsea talked nonstop and were super tight. Basically, my concern with aligning with the two of you was that if the three of us made the merge together and our plans took a turn for the worst, I was afraid that you two would have chosen to get rid of me over getting rid of each other. I didn’t necessarily want to be a third wheel. That is why I instinctively chose to align myself with Christine and create growing relationships with both Matty and Kathy. However, Christine was my #1. She and I had a pact to stick together and I knew having the double vote on my side was a tremendous advantage. With that said, I did enjoy talking to both you and Chelsea a lot so I made sure to tell Chelsea on multiple occasions that we had to make sure we had Christine on our side or she would team up and use the double vote to get rid of us. This served not only to keep my main ally, Christine, safe, but it also allowed me to work with you and Chelsea at the same time. In addition, Kathy and I actually got pretty close as well albeit not so much on a strategic level. I also talked to Matty a bit on our personal lives. I knew that Kathy and Matty were both two people who had not been super active players and therefore, I knew that they were talked to the least in the tribe and so I made that extra effort to include them both for a moral obligation and so I would have my options open if push came to shove. I knew that there would be a tribal switch in the game at some point and by talking to everyone on my original tribe, I felt safer knowing that no matter what happened at the switch, it was very likely that I would end up with at least one original Oronar all of whom I had made a relationship with whether strong or weak.
As for a move that I had in case I was left without original allies at the swap, I would have disassociated myself as much as I could from the Oronar tribe so that people didn’t think I would jump at the chance to team up with Oronar at the merge. Kind of the opposite of Chase because he showed us he was tight with Misty which made us know he would team up with Chonos whereas I would have said screw Chelsea and voted to send someone from a non-Oronar tribe to exile so that my new tribe thought I was loyal to them and not my former tribemates-of course it would be acting. ;) That way, at the merge, I would have the option to either stick with my former Oronar tribemates or with my new swapped tribe thereby putting me in the middle. Basically, that was my plan in case I was placed with no allies on the swapped tribe.
Finally, I was able to separate my game from yours and Chelsea’s by branching out and creating relationships with other people so that I wasn’t tied down to a single alliance. One of the strongest alliances I began to create on NuOronar was with Fabio. I made this bond on my own account without either you or Chelsea’s consultation. By the time the merge came, Fabio and I were super close and I trusted him as much as I trusted you and more than I trusted Chelsea actually simply because I didn’t know what went on over on NuJaruud. By aligning myself with him, I like to think it helped integrate myself into the Jaruud alliance because the other Jaruud members trusted Fabio and Fabio trusted me. By creating new allies and distancing myself from a single alliance, my game wouldn’t be too impacted by the downfall of someone else’s. Unfortunately, at the beginning of the merge, Oronar was targeted and I had to separate my game from yours even more or my game would have gotten damaged too much. Because I had branched out and created those new allies, I was able to blend in more with the other two tribes which is more likely why you were the one targeted. I hope that is enough. If not, I’m willing to go more in depth :)
This is now for the question targeted at all of us. If I had to pick, I would say that this season was actually a fairly good season. It was definitely slower at the beginning when a lot of the inactive people were the ones being booted, but as the game got further along, I think the enjoyment from the outside most likely got better. As for detailing the game, I would say it was probably pretty boring watching Oronar dominate the game at the beginning. The Jenn boot will probably be the most boring boot ever in this Survivor Series moving forward. However, I did think it was funny how we just talked about voting her out in the tribe group chat because she was never even there to see it. Filtering through the rest of the boring first 8 or so days, it doesn’t seem like there was too much strategy going on or anything because the boots were fairly easy. An honorable mention not related to strategy though would be Woo’s rising of the dead in the dodgeball challenge. That was probably the most exciting thing the viewers had seen in the first 8 days of the game. Days 9 and 10 were probably more exciting compared to the former dullness of the game. The viewers would have expected Chelsea and Christine to team up, but out of nowhere, Christine actually targets Chelsea. Props to Christine for actually bringing some excitement. As for Day 10, I bet if there were prediction writers, many of them would have predicted that Chase would go far. So for him to have been cut short before the merge, it had to have been a shocker to the viewers (btw when I say viewers, I mean Jeff and Charlie). Then Kathy went inactive and it was another boring vote. The merge was supposed to get exciting, but like I said in my opening statement, no one cared about the viewer’s feelings and took the easy route of voting another Oronar. The Misty vote was really where things got going. Chonos and Jaruud members realized the battle was imminent and so it was basically who could capture the 2 remaining Oronar first. I personally think it was really exciting because if either I or Chelsea went one way or the other, the whole game would be different. There could have been a tie vote and it could have gone to rocks. The suspense was at its highest since the game had begun. And then as fast as it had gotten started, the alliances stayed the same at the Matt vote. On day 23 was when the game got good. Alliances were becoming wary and things were starting to look up for the viewers. And then here comes Drunken Ciera from the village with an idol in hand. Fabio was the star player and just like that, he was gone. That idol play by Ciera was the start of it all. Alliances were being created everywhere with everyone. I’m pretty sure at that point in the game, everyone had an alliance with everyone. It couldn’t be much more exciting than that because it has to go somewhere from there. And then the tie vote occurred. The tie vote had to have been the most entertaining part of the entire game. Anything could have happened and the viewers were happy. Unfortunately for the viewers, rocks were avoided and things seemed to be normal again until the next vote where the biggest threat in the game gets booted. I’m sure Hali was pegged as the winner by many and to see her gone was a big move. Then the viewers see the Final 5 making alliances tenfold and Ciera became the unfortunate victim of the vote. Finally, it came down to an endurance challenge. John and Francesca battling to the death while the viewers sat back and ate their popcorn until they got so bored of watching another Fem-Bot use its unfair emotionless advantage of not having to sleep. And that brings us to the present. Overall, the game was very lackluster at the beginning, but after Tyler’s impactful speech, the game got going and moves started to be made. Started off slow; finished strong.
All-Stars!
1. Hali- Hali dominated this game from the beginning until the moment she got voted out. She was a force to be reckoned with and it would be shameful not to include this wrecking ball in another season. She was the leader of her tribe and then to top it all off she became the ruler of her tribe. What more could you want in a woman? ;)
2. Chase- Chase may not have had time to shine in this game, but he was no goat. He had serious potential and it would be downright devastating not to see this guy play another season and show what he can really do.
3. Misty- Misty was sneaky. She knows how to play the game and she knows how to play it well. It may not have worked out for her this time, but she could definitely go far with another shot. She had this satisfying ability to draw everyone into her and make them feel indebted to her and it’s kind of scary. All her former tribemates seem to have this undying bond with her and I’m wondering if she is able to hypnotize. Probably explains her loyal fembots.
4. Fabio- Fabio was friends with everyone. He was funny, he was social, and he was no slacker in challenges. He was a triple-threat. He might look dumb on the outside simply because the real Fabio wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he knew what he was doing. His social game was no doubt the best out of anyone else in this game and it’d be great to see another season with him in it and if his strategy might change to a more villainous character.
Alternates
1. John- John truly was a dark horse throughout this game. I’m pretty sure everybody underestimated how good of a player he actually was. Unfortunately, he was overshadowed by Hali in this game, but I have a good feeling that in a game without Hali, he could really show us all up and bring out the big guns.
2. Christine- This is simply for an entertainment aspect. Who wouldn’t want to see another crazy episode of Christine going berserk? She would definitely be a wildcard going into the game and it’d be interesting to see if she could contain her inner psycho.
The reason I didn’t include Chelsea in this list is because she lacked the self-confidence and willingness to play this game hard. I didn’t include myself because I feel as though my entertainment value was limited. I played hard and fought to get here, but I’m not too humorous nor did I make tons of confessionals. I didn’t include Fran because I feel as though she is not the power player everyone thinks she is. Chase was definitely the top dog there on Chonos and was playing the game. Then there was Misty who was definitely the second-in-command and took charge when Chase left. For me, Fran doesn’t even show up to the party until Chase and Misty have already left. If she was to play again, I'm sure she'd be overshadowed by other players again and an All-Star is supposed to stand out. She didn’t stand out very much and her perceived moment of glory was ultimately Ciera’s decision.
Thanks for the questions Tyler and I hope you consider voting me!

Tyler <3
Well to start off about the pros of having such close alliance members. No one can make it to the end without having some form of an alliance. Regardless of my jury management, I think I did a great job at keeping people in the game who wanted me in the finals with them. Every member of the jury wanted me out at one point, so working close with Brett and Fran ensured I stayed in this game. The cons are it put a target on my back, especially early on. There was so much talk about the Oranor alliance on NuJaruud. So I had to act like I hated it over there, had to act like it was a living hell. I also was paired with Brett at the end, and had to try to act like I wasn't close with him.
I don't think me building good relationships with the two sitting next to me hurts my chance at winning at all. I think it shows that I did do something other than be a goat. They both wanted me in the final 3 since the start of the jury. The thing that hurt my chances of winning is not having the time to connect with the jury like the two sitting beside me did.
This was a great season, started off with 18 people being split into three tribes. On those tribes leaders were established, and the inactive people left. After a tribe swap, tribal alliances were still clear as day, and remained all the way throughout the game. At the merge, Oranor found itself on the bottom but quickly turned it around by taking out members of the old Chanos tribe, and then the old jaruud tribe. Oranor played the middle perfectly, and made its way to the end. Regardless of the bitch Chelsea's jury management.
All- Star Picks
1. Fran - Was the challenge beast, if she didn't win half the immunities she did, she would not have made it this far.
2. Chelsea - I'm putting myself because I feel as though I did play a good game, the only thing I lacked was jury management. All-Stars is also a time to redeem yourself, and I feel as though if I made it I could do just that.
3. John K - Last remaining Jaruud, was fighting for his life in the final immunity and fell short. Was really likable and a great guy, viewers clearly love a slice of John.
4. Hali - Hali was a shoe in to win for majority of the game, therefore she deserevs a shot at all stars.
Alts
1. Fabio - Really likable guy, screwed over by an idol.
2. Brett - Made it to the end being loyal to an his alliance, has a shot to prove himself in a different season
