The Twisted series has seen a myriad of different heroic figures throughout its tenure, from the loveable duo of Jaclyn & Gary in Canada to Triple Idol God Charlie in Blood vs Water. One player this season was a rootable underdog from start to finish, gathering huge amounts of love and support from countless PWs who desperately wanted to see them beat the odds and win out. The hero of Twisted Ukiyo is none other than...

The villain is the player we love to hate. We root for their downfall, knowing at the same time that once they leave a huge chunk of excitement and personality will go out with them. Calculating masterminds Dave and Tyson took this award jointly in Twisted 2, and this season we again have two people to award the villain title to...

Sydney & Caleb!
It was impossible to choose between you two, because you both represent villainy in such different ways.
Sydney, you are the epitome of ORG evil. You truly, to all of our enjoyment, embody sociopathy and derive joy from the pain of others. You loved picking fights and breaking people's hearts. Not having you on the trophy would be a travesty. That having been said, your overall strategic influence wasn't all that prominent. You were a lot of bark, but never really had the power to turn that into bite.
Enter Caleb. You two couldn't be more different. Caleb controlled so much of this game and single-handedly annihilated the hopes and dreams of so many promising players. You really did mean well while doing it, but it ultimately made you into the season's villain.
Honourable mention goes to our runner up, Spencer. Christ, we had so many villains.

This award was originally created in honour of our beloved PW Leann in Canada when, while playing as Hayden, he refused to take an idol offered to him and then got voted out that same round. Jon promptly followed up in the Pacific when he accidentally self-voted, leading to his own elimination in a crazy 3 - 2 - 2 vote. Us viewers both relish in these mistakes and ache for the players who make them. This season, our dumbest move award goes to...

Nothing adds a bit of spice to a season like a good old-fashioned rivalry. In Blood vs Water, we saw Alex's temporary return from the dead at merge throw the entire game into absolute turmoil over an easy boot when his rivalry with Dreamz reared its head. In India, alpha players Eddie and Tyler battled it out, knowing only one of them could make it to the end. However, this season our rivalry award is a little less conventional...

Caleb vs the jury!
In THIS season, we didn't have an in-game rivalry that matched what was going on in Ponderosa. There would be walls of posts and text of Caleb arguing with various members of the jury including (and not limited to) Brad, Sydney, and Jonny. It was very ~dramatic~ and as a result QUITE interesting to watch.
Honourable mentions go to Reynold vs Sydney and Kat vs Spencer!

Two is better than one, right? Games are so much easier when we have a trusted partner we can bounce ideas off of and have emotional meltdowns in front of (or maybe that's just me). We've seen our fair share of power couples in Twisted history, from Hali & Ratalie in the Pacific to finalists Jerri & Randy in Blood vs Water, and in India we saw this award extend to a power trio to accommodate the Beautiful Witches Monica, Sherri and Jenna. Ukiyo's nominated dynamic duo are...

Kat & Dana!
While there were numerous duos and alliances that were influential throughout the course of the game, I personally found the dynamic between the two of you the most fascinating. You were both faced with a daunting task in overcoming being at a massive numbers disadvantage against a huge & looming Mountain force, and both of you did a fantastic job in manoeuvring yourselves through risky and difficult situations. You started together, and while your paths sometimes diverged and you occasionally lost trust in each other, you eventually finished together, too. A stunning and fitting arc for this season's two fan favourites.
Honourable mentions go to James/Spencer/JFP (pick one tbh) & Marisa, Jefra & Eliza (<3) and Julia & Caleb!

Having a great social game is arguably THE most important part of ORGs (and Survivor in general). Strategy is rarely successful long-term without social capital to back it up, and finalists who make big moves and neglect maintenance social relationships in the process often find themselves fighting a losing battle in front of the jury. Many of you were well-liked by your fellow players, but one of you stood out above the rest...

Julia!
None other than our winner! Some people this season were very popular with others to begin with, but they became more polarizing as time wore on (Spencer & Caleb are notable examples of this). Julia, however, seemed to pretty much always be in people's good graces and managed to avoid any REAL danger for the entirety of the game by virtue of her excellent social game.
Honourable mentions go to Caleb & Spencer!

Having this award be a thing was only fair this season given the stunning talent present in our pre-jury. Pretty much ALL of you who were eliminated pre-merge had fans who were devastated by your boots and we could almost create a very viable second chances cast using only this season's pre-jurors. Given how great you all were, picking a single person to give this award to was tough, but without further ado, the #MostRobbed player is...

Sugar!
Sugar was a massive personality and social force on original Ozato and was completely and utterly swap fucked in a way few others experienced. While the first swap sucked for a lot of the Coast players, I think many of them made avoidable blunders that ultimately lead to them being eliminated prematurely. Sugar was simply too present and too powerful, and this got her marked as the biggest threat by her new Mountaineer companions. I highly recommend Sugar's confessionals to anyone reading this -- they are truly a JOURNEY, despite the fact that they only span over a few rounds.
Honourable mentions go to Debbie, Butch and Tom!

As a viewer and host, there are few things I value more in a player than fantastic confessionals. I love the feeling of being taken on an adventure and living out a game vicariously through someone's words. Many of you gave engaging and insightful confessionals this season, but the official Storyteller of Twisted Ukiyo is...

Kat!
Kat provided constant (and constantly entertaining) updates that not only provided insight into her game, but also unique glimpses of her personality. Her confessionals read more as an amazing stream of consciousness than someone sitting down to write a scheduled diary entry every day, and I really dig that vibe.
Honourable mentions go to JFP, Debbie, Sugar & James (especially if you like video confessionals!)!

Sometimes there are people in a game who are just so damn loveable. They may not have the gameplay or arc that makes a ~hero~, but they capture the hearts of the viewers in a way that few others can manage. While we have never had this award or equivalent before, I believe Nat A in the Pacific, Sally in India and Kim in Blood vs Water are good examples of what this award embodies. The sweetheart of this season is...
