Hey guys - congratulations on making it to the end. And so, I'm not going to lie I really haven't spoken much game with either of you and my vote will not be going to whoever I liked more but whoever I feel does better at FTC.

Jerry, I don't know you as a person, we haven't talked much but one aspect of your game really irritated me, each time I told anything you'd go straight to Nick. And I don't know whether you were planning on turning on him later on but from my point of view, I feel like you were fine with handing him the win and if it wasn't for Debbie I feel like it could've been the case.

Debbie, I think it's amazing how you've decided to take a risk by tying the vote and forcing a purple rock but I also feel like by making all these moves you've pissed off a few jury members and I'm wondering whether you had a game plan to win or you were playing recklessly and made all those moves round by round, thinking only of your survival.

And my question for both of you is: think of a scenario where FTC has 3 finalists, who are the two jurors you'd want to be sitting next to and why?

hi candice!

yes, by making my string of late game moves i did piss a few people off, but the two people that i may have pissed off were two people who were always gonna vote jerry over me anyway. and my endgame plan for the last several rounds was to get to the end with jerry. so, i didn't think much of pissing off nick and jenn. they were jerry's closest allies. I did have a plan, and while some things were shifted around to fit that particular day, I reached my goal of getting to f2 with jerry - and jerry is the third person that i pissed off in the endgame, but he can't really vote against me, so i have no qualms with that either.

the thing also about taking out jenn is if it pissed her off i don't necessarily feel bad about it because we were never close and rarely talked and i never promised her anything, so any bitterness from that is completely brushed off my shoulder.

if the ftc had 3 finalists i would want to be sitting next to either jenn and tina if i wanted the best shot to win, or misty and bob dawg if i wanted one of my favorite people in the game to win (so that's if my moves had failed and i had no control over my future or fate, that's what i would have wanted. but! i had control over both my future and my fate, so, tina and jenn are my choices!)

I totally get why you would find my actions irritating. It makes me come off as a pawn and as untrustworthy, and I understand that. However, Nick was my #1 ally, and he was around a strong majoroty of the time, so I was able to share quite a bit of information with him, and vise versa. I trusted him, and after you were Gung Ho on voting Aubry out, I became sketched out by you. So, before the conversation where you told me you were voting for me and I should vote for you, Nick was saying that you were throwing my name around. So, when you were lying to me about wanting to go for Misty, I was able to successfully attack the details in your plan and reveal your true intentions, proving Nick as a credible source for information yet again. I was running to Nick with info, and I see how that can be annoying. However, he was doing the same thing to me, keeping me in the loop, and the info he gave me was always accurate.

I wasn't fine with handing him the win though. When I play, I want to win. I knew that Nick was the biggest threat in the room, so I wanted to hide behind him and take him out right before the endgame, surviving a round or two by myself. Part way into the premerge, I knew I couldn't go up against him. Would he have made his way to the end if he wasn't rocked out? It's possible. He had tons of connections and great challenge strength. But just because I shared info with him in the early merge, doesn't mean I wasn't thinking of eventually going behind his back.

As for your question, I'd want to sit next to Jenn, at the very least. No question. I adored that woman and I knew I could beat her, so I saw it as a win-win for me. After that, I'd probably want to sit next to Shane. It seemed like he didn't have a whole lot of social connections in the later portions of the game. Sure, he had a successful idol play, but if I could get him in the F3 with me through everyone wanting to target him during the middle of the merge, I think I'd be able to confidently say that he'd be sitting next to me because of what I did for him. Plus if Misty goes at F7 instead of Shane then my options to get to the end become a lot more expansive. In my heart, I know I would have loved to sit next to Nick instead of Shane, but I wanted to win, and if I wanted to win, Nick had to go at some point.
