Just a few questions so that we can get to know you as a player better!
1: Would you describe yourself as a Hero or a Villain?
2: What's your strategy going to be like?
3: What reason did you have for selecting the character you're playing as? Is your character going to affect how you approach the game?
4: What's one word you would use to describe your gameplay or personality?
5: Any other comments?

Hiya! :)
I'm going to dinner soon, then probably switching computers, so I'm going to do these 1-by-1 so I don't have to restart.
1: Would you describe yourself as a Hero or a Villain?
I feel like this is the part where I break down and call myself an anti-hero (probably the most accurate), but I'm feeling pretty heroic today. I'm loyal, I make a great underdog, and I generally don't backstab people unless they deserve it or are literally Hitler, so even then I end up looking kind of good for it. I never go full villain, though I'm usually not likable enough to be a tried and true hero.

Oh my god talking to Coach, Shane, Joanna and Debbie all at the same time. This is a Survivor Dream and a Survivor nightmare all in one.

2: What's your strategy going to be like?
Well, you know how everyone likes to answer this with something along the lines of "I'm going to be adaptable?" Well, that's going to have to go doubly true for me in this game, at least at the start. You see, this first week is going to be very, very difficult. I have final exams and some life issues all coming to a head at the same time, so this is going to be sort of on the back burner by default. I can compete, and check in every once in a while, but I expect to be on the bottom rung for the first few rounds because of those circumstances. Once that's done, though, if I'm still in, I am here to play. So I guess my strategy is to be a sleeper.
I'm hoping to establish myself as a solid challenge performer for my tribe. I'm good at challenges, and if they don't take all day I'll be able to carve out time to go full on immunity whore! I'm hoping that will make up for any appearances of inactivity that I may end up facing.
I'm also just planning to be goofy, have fun, and not take things too seriously to start. No game botting it out just yet. People like non threats who they can joke around with, and also, it's a LOT more inviting to come on to joke around during a hard week than it is to wrangle people into the votes that I want.
So, that's my week 1 strategy. If I survive those round, we'll see how week 2 will go!

3: What reason did you have for selecting the character you're playing as? Is your character going to affect how you approach the game?
I chose Aubry because she's very similar to me. Watching her on Survivor, I feel like I'm watching some much more well adjusted version of myself playing. She plays how I would like to play. Her attitude is like mine. She's an AMAZING narrator and that's the kind of confessionalist I would like to be once I get past this first round or two. Plus, I don't like to play as winners, and I am hoping she's the winner, so this might be the only chance I get!
And my character choice will absolutely effect things. I'm worried that it might not be in my favor though. Aubry is like me, so I feel like I'll probably be very much myself, which is fine. But I've noticed when I play as females, I generally end up on the outs of my tribe. When I play as males, I'm usually in with the in crowd. It's very, very weird, but I can't think of a single instance of this NOT happening to me in a game. Maybe it's how I play as males? I think I tend to be more assertive as them. Maybe friendlier without coming off as fake? Or maybe it's just easier to be flaky without actually looking flaky? Maybe there's some kind of untapped charisma I have about me that only comes out when people perceive me to have a penis.
Not sure my second choice of Savage would have really been any more likable than Aubry, though!

The one thing I really strive to be, but maybe can't always manage to be:
Clever. | |

Thanks for casting me! I hope I'll be able to outlast my week of stress and prove myself! I'm looking forward to playing!
