Well, I'm down, but I'm not out!

In all honesty, maybe this is exactly what I need. It's so unlikely I'll win my way back, but I'm good at challenges, and I think I can do more damage if you insert me into the merge than if I was an under-established player struggling through the pre-merge. Plus, Joe seems to have been dead on arrival here at Oasis... Maybe I'll get lucky!

It does suck to be out, but I can't begrudge anyone the decision. I hope Coach didn't fight it at all. I don't think we were nearly close enough for him to do that, but I don't want him to lose his reputation with the tribe when I think he may have been in a better position than he knew. He's the head strong type, but he should avoid showing his cards like that just yet.

And Shane and Debbie and Joanna but Coach is the one I could actually see myself aligning with longterm. Like, I'd f2 that guy. I'm really worried and now I'm regretting giving 2 of the coins to Joanna, but, see, Joanna was my buddy and reminded me to like the rules post because I forgot so I wouldn't end up losing a coin. So now she gets that coin plus interest.

So, here's something to think over, or maybe overthink:

I logged on today for the first time since I got sick, and I had messages from Bob and Chris that actually seemed really interested in talking to me during the vote. I feel awful knowing that people actually reached out and I wasn't there. I didn't expect that since I was SUCH an obvious boot. Now I'm looking at the likes on my post in TC, and Chris is the only one who didn't like it.

What I'm thinking from that is that maybe Bob and/or Chris felt on the outs and tried to make something happen during my boot, but I was MIA and they couldn't. And the lack of outreach otherwise makes me think that means those two are on the outs. It's not like the majority would need my vote.

So, that's interesting. I hate that my being sick messed up some potential moves and that I wasn't already 100% unanimous boot before that happened. On the other hand, though, if the establishment alliance those two are railing against is like Joanna, Coach, Debbie and Bob Dawg... lol I don't feel bad at all that the underdogs didn't get their day, because that alliance would be fucking awesome.

Right now I feel bad, knowing that I made the round a lotmore boring than it needed to be. On the other, though, I'm holding onto the hope that the 4 I mentioned are safe because of this. Like holy shit that's such a great alliance. I would have wanted in on it.

So, I'm probably way off base, but I'll see soon when Ifbith sends me one of my old friends to kill. I like analyzing like this, even if I end up embarrassingly wrong.
