1.) Did you realize that thats how you were coming off to me?

Honestly, I didn't. In hindsight, it seems pretty obvious considering how our conversations would go (especially when we were setting up that alliance between you, me, Deb, and Nick. The fucking CRINGE of not realizing it then amirite). It became blaringly obvious during Nick's boot though when you confronted me about it. I tried my best to correct it the next round when I was straight up with you, and then talked about music with you in an attempt to leave our relationship on a satisfying end. That being said, I did notice a few things in how you spoke with me that I made note of (one wording me, etc), but I didn't know why. If that's how I came off, I apologize. Before F6, I thought I was genuine and transparent, but if you didn't perceive me that way, then that's on me for not selling that image to you.

2.) What was the strategic significance of being so fake?

Okay, first, I don't really like this question tbh. It's like a middle school thing where they're like, "Are you gay? Do your parents know that you're gay?" I'll be the first to admit, the way I treated you at F6 and onwards was pretty shitty. At F8, making that alliance? Sure I wasn't completely set on working with you all the way to the end, bUT short term? I definitely wanted to work with you. I knew I could beat you at challenges, and I knew you were close to Debbie, which is someone I thought I could beat. I though I could use you to get closer to her and work with you short term. That was my intention. Not wanting to go up against you in the end doesn't mean I didn't want to work with you. Like I said though, most of the time with the exception of the things I mentioned, I was genuine with you (I guess there was the Chris boot to add to that, just remembered, but that was mainly because I didn't trust Chris and it seemed like you were hardcore with him, so obvs I'm going to need to go behind your back for that round. I think that's justified). If I convinced you that I wasn't, then that's totally on me. But you phrased this question like I was TRYING to be fake to you. Maybe I'm just not getting it?

That being said, being fake in general isn't going to do a whole lot of good. Socially, people are going to be rubbed the wrong way, and that's going to decrease the chances of getting their vote. Strategically, it's much easier to read what's actually going through your head, and not what they're saying. You can't win being fake, and if that's how you saw me, as the most prominent feature about me, then I clearly don't deserve your vote. Plain and simple.

3.) You seem to talk about being underestimated, but I personally never saw you that way. I saw you as a cripplingly average player in like every category (nothing to be ashamed of, thats p solid). So how did you get everyone else to view you this way, but not me? (Or deb for that matter)

I'd say I was better than cripplingly average at challenges, not in every category. Hell, I'd say I was pretty damn good! Did you see that fucking FIC puzzle? That was a nightmare trying to figure out! And I managed to figure out how to put it together and code it right in the reply. I managed to beat Misty at a game she was proficient in. I was almost always right on her tail when she was winning immunities. I was runner up in the majority rules challenge early on, which ties into how I was able to read the room despite not being the answer for any of those questions.

If you want to say I was cripplingly average everywhere else, then that's a fair statement. I clearly didn't have a good enough social game if I rubbed you the wrong way so hard, but I still managed to have enough connections to get me here and be in the majoroty for most of the game. Strategically, I didn't have a whole lot on my resume, but I thought I made the right moves at the right times. Clearly though, Candice underestimated me and my connections, since I was able to use mine to get the second most votes on her and then tip off an idol play to get out my biggest opponent at the time. The round before that, she seemed to think she could sway people to get me out, and despite how close I might have been to getting voted out, the end result was me staying in the game. Misty underestimated me, because she was fucking pissed off about that Candice boot, and I was behind most of the strategy behind that round (after the 4-2-2 plan got initially set in place, I was out of it before that). Judging on how many votes I got throughout the game, there's obviously a few people that underestimated my game and ability to stay in if they thought they could get me out. I'd say that there's a case to be made on both sides of the coin; there's enough mistakes I made and situations I mishandled to be an average player, and there's enough situations where I proved I was more than average.

I'll get back to the questons for both of us tomorrow, but I wanted to answer these for now. I hoped I aced it, I've clearly been rocking a solid D+ or so for the majority of the class and I'd do anything for an A, Mr. Mason ;)

I'm going to do all three questions at once while I'm in the right mindset for each person. The music I like isn't pop or indie rock really so most of you probs not gonna like the songs I choose but WHATEVS, YOLO

Jerry - Kim Spradlin. I was the most masterful player ever and you guys didn't even reali- nah, probably someone like Katie from Palau. Pretty average in most aspects, not a super flashy game, loyal ally but trying to double deal, etc.
Song: The Celestial Antidote by Job For a Cowboy.

Starts off with a strong riff, goes into some pretty average metal stuff, and then at the tail end of the song, there's a fucking AWESOME pick up in the pace, which symbolizes how I won a few immunities.

Bonus gif just for me:

Debbie - Probably Kass. Sure she played a decent game but she rubbed a number of people the wrong way with the moves that she did. Otherwise, she kept pretty UTR for the most part.
Song: The Wreckage of Stars by Black Crown Initiate.

Mostly pretty quiet and calm, with instruments and melodies slowly being added in, before a really fucking heavy final minute or so. I'd say pretty accurate to how she played.

Misty - Nat Anderson. Terry Deitz. Went on a strong immunity run and had the necklace in her wallet just in case, but when it came down to it, she lost the last challenge and was voted out for being the biggest competition.
Song: Allure by Fallujah

Unrelenting guitar riffs (and those fucking DRUMS man) that manage to be beautiful at the same time, and finishing off with a ridiculously fast drum riff that fades out into a quiet guitar. She fought until the last minute, and then took her vote off pretty peacefully (or at least that's how she presented herself).

(fun fact that's me in the background celebrating)

Jenn - Woo. Was a blast and a fun personality, and was loyal to a fault. Unfortunately though, a lot of people didn't respect her game as much as other people's.
Song: Alone With You by Fallujah

Partially because of how much I seemed to connect with her, but this song doesn't really stand much own it's own. It needs the second part to it (which happens to be Allure, but Misty is not Jenn's Allure, I don't want to send that signal, either me or Nick was).

Bob Dawg - Jon. A really nice guy and pretty fucking likable, but was taken out just before the end for being a threat (and because Nat Anderson held a grudge but that is irrelevant to the point I am making).
Song: Fidelio by Fallujah (they're my favorite band rn and I listen to them a lot so shut your whore mouth I pick whatever songs I see fit)
(here's where I'd put the song in flash form but I can't seem to find it on youtube sorry :( try spotify or something cuz this song is da bomb)
A very pleasant song that seems reserved in it's tone, but it's also really well written in terms of the crescendo and slowly introducing the main melody, along with the instruments that go along with it.

Basically what was going through your head probs

Nick - Okay, actually Kim Spradlin this time. Nick was 100% in the loop, playing easily the best game of the season. It's very possible that he would have won, if Debbie didn't wake up to him and be a successful Troyzan.
Song: Pull Me Under by Dream Theater.

A great song, all around, no question. There's a build up to the very end, but instead of an ending that makes sense, it's a very abrupt cut off to signify how quickly death can come (and that it did).

Shane - Katie in Philippines. She was in a good spot, but then she started getting targeted until her social game left her with no legs to stand on. Plus underrated g.oddess.
Song: Purge by Black Crown Initiate (okay last time I'll mention this but I listed to the same bands pretty often so of course my mind clicks to them when I'm asked about them)

It has a great flow to the song that naturally progresses, with a climax in the music right before the end riff (representing the idol play). Then, the song ends with the opening melody, very calmly (unfortunately, Shane ended the same way).

I picked this because I thought you were really chill to talk to in the game. Maybe that's not how you see yourself, but that's how I saw you.

Candice - Abi Maria. This wasn't too hard to think about. There's the language barrier issue off the bat, and they both got paranoid pretty easily, along with telling people that they're voting them out. Things like that.
Song: When I Lost My Bet by The Dillinger Escape Plan

This song is pretty unpredictable and erratic, along with how the guitar and vocals come and go in the opening riff (representing how she was very on and off, mostly on during the morning)

I realize this stuff might not be flattering but this is how I saw you in the game, as a person, you were always pretty nice, so please don't take this too hard okay thnx

Tina - Lindsey from Cagayan. After it was revealed that her tribe had a different agenda than her, she shut herself out of them. Which eventually took her out of the game.
Song: Lightless Walk by Cult Leader

This song is kind of how I imagine Tina felt after being betrayed by Nick. Kind of shutting herself in and going down the road by herself kind of deal. Beware tho, this song is super depressing so unless you want your world colorless for like the next day don't listen :(

How Tina reacted to our old tribe.

Chris - Brad Culpepper. He was basically running the show until late in his game where people didn't want to be controlled by him. So, naturally, they both got voted out around that time.
Song: Machine by Born of Osiris

In the climax of this song, they chant, "Separate yourself from the machine! Embrace your own identity!" So the song is obviously about not being controlled. Side note, I don't really like this song, but that's irrelevant.

Gotta get some more Drake and Josh gifs up in this

Joanna - Ashlee from Palau, because I feel like I didn't really know you that well :(
Song: Into Bloom by Wrvth

I picked this song because it's hipstery, and a band that basically no one knows about. But I love it. Love this song and the beauty it has, and somehow the fact that not a whole lot of people know about it makes the song that much more intimate for me and my enjoyment.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Jesus, that whole thing was draining. I'm not expecting this to be one of my best answers tbh, it became so difficult and tedious like a quarter of the way through but I wanted to answer it. You happy, Debbie?

Jerry - the face you make when you're embarrassed of the bullshit someone is spewing when you know they didn't do half the shit they claim :O

I'm sorry, did I overstep my boundaries? Last time I checked, I was pretty humble about most of the things I said (read, I could understand why someone thought I was average). I mainly took credit for Candice's boot, because I was the one that tipped off Shane and talked around about getting a vote off of me. Pretty fucking sure I was a heavy contributing factor to how that played out.

Did I take credit for taking out Nick? Hell no! Did I say I was the best fucking player in this game? Fuck no! Dis I take credit for the civil rights movement? I would never! So you saying I've just been spewing bullshit is offensive to me. I've been answering honestly and giving my insight and my point of view on what happened. Last time I checked, that's not bullshit. If nothing else, that's being misinformed.

If it was, my bad. I'm terrible at detecting sarcasm/jokes over text, it's my Achilles heel. That combined with how badly I want to win and defend my game makes my attitude pretty on edge. :/
